Lovely Windows From A Company We Have Happily Used Before.

We are just about to have Monmouthshire Conservatorys in to fit some more windows for us, this will be the third time we have used them as we are fitting the windows a few at a time. They have been fantastic, the sash windows are absolutely beautiful and look perfect in our house, particularly the bay windows. Several of our neighbours have commented on how good they look.

The measuring up was done without any problems and the fitters were lovely and very considerate, making sure that they cleaned up when they had finished.

We have really enjoyed a warm and draught free winter and are looking forward to having our last few new windows to finish off the project.

Friendly, Efficient And Honest

I recently chose Monmouthshire Conservatory Company to install my new composite front door. They were recommended to me by several friends and seemed like the obvious company to go with. I went to the showroom several times and was given brilliant advise on which door was best for me and the style of my little country cottage. I chose a wood effect stable door and am thrilled with the results. It not only looks stunning but I now don't have that awful cold draft that used to run through my lounge from my old wooden door. The fitters were brilliant, quick and tidy - couldn't be happier.

A great family company.

Disgusted!

We asked this company to do some repairs under warranty for a conservatory they installed 8 years ago, with a 10 year warranty. At first, we were impresses that someone answered the phone on a Sunday. He told us he would get someone to call us in the next two days to arrange an appointment for someone to come and look at the 3 relatively minor problems we had:

1. A roof panel had moved and water and debris were getting into the gap.

2. The double door with 5 point locking was only locking at 3 points.

3. The gutter support brackets on one side of the conservatory had all broken and the rain was pouring out of the gutter.

We heard nothing from our first call. After two weeks and another three phone calls we eventually got to speak to the person who made the appointments. She wanted to negotiate the whole thing on the phone and was constantly trying to deny any responsibility for the problems. She was rude, obnoxious and manipulative. A real 'Vicky Pollard'.

We felt as if she was doing us a big favour by making an appointment for someone to call.

Then, after a saga lasting 2 months, the installer turned up with 4 hours notice. If we'd been out it wouldn't have happened yet, and he's done an amateur job of the whole thing.

The roof gap is smaller - but he's just slid the panel sideways dividing the gap across both sides of the panel.

He's left a sealing strip hanging loose in the gutter.

He's re-fitted a broken support bracket on the gutter.

And he looked me in the eye and told me he'd done a professional job.

This company fulfils all the negative stereotypes of double glazing companies. Pathetic, rubbish, amateur, and blatantly deceitful. Stay well away.
