Does Not Last
Thought it was great, with a Li-ion battery that gave a good life between charges and a travel case with USB charging. Then just after the guarantee ran out it started to turn on randomly more and more and even while charging until it just packed in. Not good for a product of this price. This is not the only Philips product I have had that breaks just after the guarantee period.

A Needed A Replacement For An Oral-b Triumph Which
A needed a replacement for an Oral-B Triumph which had given excellent service for several years but had finally died on me. Based on a review in Which Magazine and an excellent price via the Web I bought the Phillips Sonicare HX6731 (over another Oral-B Sonicare). It's probably enough to say that I am impressed enough about the toothbrush to write a review! It's excellent, your teeth really 'feel' clean and the battery seems to last forever. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a top quality electric toothbrush
It failed after a year and a half? Doesn't sound too good to me.
An update on this review - it's just failed! (went crazy and won't switch off), but I am still impressed with the Sonicare and so have purchased another (and cheaper 'cos I suppose it's not an 'old' model)
