I started collecting Cashback with KidStart for my children’s ISAs and thought this was a great way of depositing. I managed to collect just shy of £1000 cashback and then was told business purchases weren’t eligible for cashback. I said how can they say that when they offer cashback for Viking Direct, business insurance and PC World for business.

I use to route my business purchases via KidStart like I have been doing for years with Quidco and Topcashback. These guys are rogues and stick to honourable players, not these amateurs.

The other reviewers have explained how this works so I won't repeat that but I will say that sometimes it doesn't work. You follow the link from the kidstart website to the retailer, place your order, expecting to be notified of the cash back pending but after 2 days you are still waiting. On checking with kidstart, they point you to the small print which says if a transaction isn't picked up then tough, no cash back for you. This has happened to me twice with Amaz0n. Annoying if it's a large sum

Great site for getting cashback for your kids. I've just got 2% money back on an Amazon product. Brilliant!

Really easy to use and have loads of retailers on there from John Lewis to ebay and Amazon.

Interesting approach to this whole cashback website trend. Generally a cashback site is for getting money back to you. KidStart seems to focus on you getting money back instead for your kids.

So, you sign up, assign a child trust fund, jisa, or back account and your away. What you spend online generates money back to top up these accounts in your kids name.

Whilst it may not be the biggest (or the prettiest) of all the money back websites, it does have some bespoke retailers that I cant find anywhere else. Ebay, John Lewis, Waitrose etc.
