Decided to go with Amaryllis for my wedding flowers as I am local and want to support local businesses. Initial visit to shop was okay decided on pastel pink lavender and rosemary for my posies and centre piece. Went in 2 weeks before my wedding to pay my balance and left feeling unhappy. Out of the 3 staff working there not one said thank you or bye to me. On the morning of the wedding the flowers arrived and I thought there had been a mix up. I said to the lady delivering i had ordered pink flowers her reply was she didn't know what I had ordered. The flowers were a vintage looking purple that clashed with my other colours of cadbury purple and pastel pink.The monday after my wedding i rang the shop to let them know how i felt disappointed. Her reply was what do you want me to do about it. Then she deleted me off her facebook page.

I've been using Amaryllis for a number of years and always found the service to be friendly and professional. Last year I used them for my wedding flowers and despite entering the shop with no idea what I wanted, I came out with the perfect ideas, at a great price, thanks to their advice and outstanding knowledge. They had loads of pictures to browse through and I never once felt rushed. They even made me a cup of tea while I decided! Everyone commented on how beautiful the centre pieces, bouquets and button holes were and my hubby even ordered a bouquet to be sent to me on the morning of the wedding which was unique and stunning. They arrived at the venue in good time and made sure everyone was sorted and all the room flowers were where they should be, meaning a more relaxed morning for me.

They literally do anything: simple to elaborate, traditional to contemporary and the fact that they are a family run business makes the service that bit more personal. Whenever I need an arrangement for anything, I always visit Amaryllis and I would never go to another florist.

A great flower shop, with very friendly staff. They designed all of our wedding flowers and were perfect in every way! They Looked stunning, smelt Devine and lasted for a long time. I will only use amaryllis floral design now as I have no need too find better, as this is the best. Thank you for a great service you provided us.

Amaryllis supply our business flowers and as they are always fresh, great quality and last for weeks all the staff use them as well. What a great family business that put the customer first, would highly recommend them.
