I have had hydrafacial done with acne booster at oxford circus branch. I was asked to come early for consultation prior to facial. I thought I’d be able to discuss my concerns and what I wanted during the consultation but no formal consultations happened with regards to the skin concerns and the facialist did not tell me about different kind of hydrafacials they offer. I had to ask her and then she recommended me acne booster one. Anyway, I wasn’t really bothered up to that point. But when the facial started she did not explain anything to me she did not tell go through the steps when she was doing them or what she was applying. They charge extra £40 for boosters I don’t even know whether I had a booster or not because she didn’t tell. No idea which peel strength she used and when did she apply because she was just putting things on my face and removing straight after. I didn’t feel any stinging at all from the peel so not sure if she used it or not.

I have not seen any result at all. My skin looks the same, congested with black heads. Skin texture is the same. I have had hydrafacials in the past with skin clinic and I’m aware what to expect. I wasn’t expecting a drastic change anyway but I feel like I wasted £140 I could have cleansed my skin better at home. Though she recommended me to book 3 sessions while she was doing the facial but I had made up my mind at that point that I’d not come back here again because of professionalism not being able to see difference at all. She should have explained to me the steps and what she was applying. I usually don’t leave reviews but I got to a point where I think I should make people aware as they are charging a lot of money and one would expect a better service plus I travelled all the way from Kent. I wish I read the reviews early. Complete waste of money and time. Please save your money and stay away from this clinic.

Warning - Their treatments can cause permanent pigmentation marks on your face which is what happened to me. They said they're performing an "investigation", but over a year later - I'm still waiting to hear from them.

DO NOT THINK ABOUT WASTING YOUR MONEY HERE. I have had THE WORST experience with this company. Prima in the Maddox clinic did not taken into account my skin allergies and mis sold me products which cause my skin to have a severe reaction. I had spent £500 on acid peels and products for my skin to be worse off. I contacted the clinic in July to get a response and I am still chasing the clinic to get a SENIOR member of staff to get back to me. They say on their website that complaints will be handled within 20 working days.. more like 20 working years. DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. The company is so poorly run and a complete waste of money. You will come out with worse skin than you started with and at a loss!

I have been having Botox for over 10 years at various establishments. Today I had Botox and for the first time lip fillers. The nurse was the most professional practitioner I have ever met. She made me feel completely at ease and explained in depth about the procedure with her vast knowledge. I had no hesitation in letting my daughter 19 have her lips done after the service I received.

She is an asset to DS and when booking again I will only use her.

I have been having treatments for my hair in between my eyebrows and some facials for my skin. I cannot thank Eden enough at the Barnet branch for all the treatments she has done. My skin looks and feels so much better and my hair growth is so much better even after 3 treatments. Being a male I thought I would feel uncomfortable attending a female environment but that is not the case everyone at Barnet branch makes me feel welcome and at ease.

I have just had my last treatment at Destination Skin in Bristol with the person I dealt with. She has made my treatment at this salon a pleasure due to her professionalism and customer focus approach. She talks you through what she is going to do and answers any questions asked quickly and efficiently. She puts you at ease and ensures throughout the treatment that everything is ok, the intensity level is ok and that you don't want to stop. With a lot of salons these days, you encounter a lot of younger members of staff who whilst 'trained' are experienced and don't necessarily know how to talk to put which is not an issue with this salon and this particular member of staff. It is a shame she is leaving and I wish her success in her future career, where ever that might be. x

I have been a client at the destination skin clinic in bristol for 3 year this summer. The girls in the clinic are fantastic they always go out of there way to help you with your needs and they are very personable.

The hair removal laser has changed my life after having my underarms done I was so impressed with the results I went for the legs, bikini and top lip and haven't looked back since.

The facial peels are great especially the radiance blue peel if you want a refresh and strangely relaxing.

The most recent treatment I am crazy about is the Derma stamp.

I highly recommend!

I spoke with the Assistant Manager about some discrepancies. I explained to her that there was discrepancies in the amounts I paid for products. I returned an unopened sunscreen worth £28 pounds, and was told I only had £27 pounds in my account.

I had another consultation, and was told that £20 pounds of that amount only was refundable - later one therapist says that the consultation fees is £20, the other says £25. I should have been able to receive at least £25, but was never given the option.

In an effort to get my money back, I bought an Obagi Vitamin C serum 10%. I paid close to £60 pounds for this product. I was told I received 10% off as a special courtesy extended to me. However, when I called as an anonymous customer, the receptionist automatically deducted 10% when informing me of the price. I asked to speak to an manager right away (while on the phone), but was told I would be called back. I never was.

Furthermore, I never receive a receipt informing me of my purchases. The only receipt I ever receive is straight from the card machine, telling me only of the total. Given all these discrepancies, I felt there was a loss of trust between the company and myself. Destination Skin has good treatments, but I was being ripped off. I asked the Assistant Manager for a full refund on my Obagi product as an apology for their mishaps, and as a way to mend broken trust.

She was incredibly rude, talked over me, insinuated I had an ulterior motive and insisted I make my intentions clear. When I tried to speak, she said loudly, ‘You aren’t listening to me’. As a customer paying hundreds of pounds to the company, this is not how I expect to be treated. She informed me that she would see about the refund and give me a call.

She never gave me a call - this was the second time that my concerns were completely ignored. When I came in two weeks later for my fourth and final peel session, the receptionist was oddly cold and I felt the staff was walking on eggshells around me. I was made to feel embarrassed for even mentioning the fact that I disagreed with their payment policies.

As I was sitting there, I watched another customer who paid, who stated, ‘Wait - I thought my treatment was cheaper?’. She paid and was given the same receipt I was - the one from the cardholder and not an official receipt of purchases.

Have been going to Destination Skin clinic in Cardiff for 10 years. They have looked after me well over the years. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional at all times. There are lots of treatments to choose from, and the staff are always happy to go through the different procedures, in detail, in order to allay any doubts or concerns.

I have CACI treatments, amongst others, and always feel relaxed and refreshed after each treatment. My skin glows.

At my age, every little helps, so the treatments and products Destination Skin advise for me is gratefully received.

A super clinic, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional staff who keep me returning year after year. Would recommend them to anyone.

I have recently started going to skin destination for laser hair removal treatment and after 3 treatments i am amazed with the results!

I definitely think it is worth the money.
