Great Professional Service
My Son had been involved in an accident and did not feel comfortable starting the process of an injury claim. I contacted Harris Fowler who completely understood his situation and were happy to liaise with me throughout the duration of his case. I would in particular like to thank the person I dealt with who did a fantastic job and was generally on hand when I needed to ask any questions she kept me up to date with all correspondance. On the day of the trial Harris Fowler sent their Barrister to represent my son who was absolutely outstanding and as a result we won our case. The compensation payment was issued to us after 21 days so a very quick turnaround, I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Motorcycle Accident
Having experienced the fear of every biker on the road of being hit by a car, I was then faced with a bike that was totally destroyed and my leathers and helmet ruined, as well as severe bruising to my left knee, upper thigh and shoulder to contend with.
Harris Fowler Solicitors were great, they acted on a no win no fee basis, and just specialise in Personal Injury. My fee earner explained the whole process to me and guided me through what would have been the daunting task of witness statements, loss of earnings claim and ensuring I recorded all of my out of pocket expenses. Fortunately the person at fault was clearly identified early, and the Police prosecuted the driver of the vehicle that hit me. The compensation Harris Fowler covered for me covered replacement of my bike, leathers and helmet, all monies I had lost and costs incurred as well as compensating me for my pain and suffering during the 6 months I was unable walk properly. I am glad I went to the effort of seeking their help, it helped ensure I did not lose out financially after being in an accident that was not my fault.

Please DO NOT use this company my mother had an accident 3 years ago after the company settling at 13 thousand pound my mother only recieved 2 thousand pounds don't be fooled by the no win no fee because if you do get compensation they will take over 70% of it!!! Not only that my mom recieved an interim payment of £600 and had to wait another 5 month for remaining monies even though Harris fowler had recieved the money from the company. I would love to know how Harris fowler can justify 11 thousand pounds for admin charges as it didn't even go to court so there wasn't even court cost!!!

Without knowing the specific case it is difficult to explain what the situation may have been with regards to your mother's case. There is a possibility of a misunderstanding with regards to what constituted costs and what constituted Damages (the compensation) in this case. it is very rare indeed and I have not known of a case whereby 70% of the client's compensation goes towards the Solicitors fees. If your mother had made a claim before April 2013 then she would have kept all of the compensation. As I have explained to some other people, some of th client's compensation is kept in a client account until all of the costs are settled, and that account attracts interest which is then paid to the client.

In My View When Its All Going Well And They Get Pa
In my view when its all going well and they get paid all good.BUT the moment they go off track you find them pressurising you to settle becouse i presume they sence they may not get paid?
As a firm of professional Solicitors it is our job to ensure that you have the best advice available, although the client will ultimately have to make the decision. There are occasions when an offer from the Defendants is the right offer because there is just not the evidence to justify a higher value claim. Occasionally it is a choice between a lower sum and nothing. And remember if the client is not paid and therefore has lost their claim we do not get paid anything.
