Sham

This company is a total sham, and only exists to take your money. I paid the initial 24.99 thinking that that was the price for an unlock. Come to find out after paying that, and they ran a test, they started harassing me for another $54. I have been asking repeatedly from them for a refund for the initial 24.99 but they are refusing to do so. They have even admitted that their website is misleading and I have a screen capture to prove it. Do not purchase anything from this company and please report them as much as possible.

Ask For More Money And Don't Deliver

Avoid. Charge, ask for more money again and again and don't deliver. Check reddit, most of them now, go to provider as its free now. Otherwise get a new phone, probably cheaper.

This Company Needs Shutting Down For Misleading Ad

This company needs shutting down for misleading adverts. I've never known such people to get away with what they do on this scale!

Last year I paid the initial fee to unlock my phone then once I paid this I was then told there was another fee on top of this. I paid that fee as I was desperate for the phone to unlock. After weeks and weeks of chasing it up, they didn't unlock the phone and refused to give a refund. I went through my bank and did a chargeback as the customer service was completely useless.

Anyway after doing some clearing out, I found the phone which I originally wanted unlocked. They have now remotely put a lock on it so I can't even switch the thing on. I will be taking this further through ofcom and trading standards

This is a sham.

After waiting for a week, they refunded me with a credit note that can only be used on their website.

I am in the process of filing a chargeback claim with my financial institution as this is a straight-forward sham.

They show you very reasonable price like $27 to unlock your phone but one you made that payment, they ask you for additional $50. When you make the initial payment, you will think that this is the all you need to pay but in foot note whey have written that this is only initial test fee. Such websites should be banned.

Same here. The charge appeared to be £11.99 so, sick of waiting for Vodafone to get their finger out and do it for free, I paid up. Half way through the process they asked for another £26.

Very devious. Be aware and probably avoid!

Swiping Money Into Credits You Can't Use

I used this service for my iPhone XS. This handset was bought by me in original Apple packaging as an unlocked phone. I had used it WITHOUT any carrier lock till now. On resetting, it has gone into carrier lock. I tried express unlock, paid 7$ for checking eligibility, 23$ for checking if unlock can be done and then they said it CAN be done. so I paid a further 83$ for Unlocking it. Now they say it's blacklisted and "sorry we didn't see it in our checking". There is NO way it can be blacklisted as I have been the sole owner. They offered my "credit note to be used in their website. This just means that they are swiping individuals by taking their money and converting it to credits that can be used only in your site, where nothing else can be done. They should issue my refund, if not the whole amount, then at least the 83$, back to the credit card.

Avoid As No Refund Policy

I work for a charity working with patients with Stage 4 cancer and tried this Expressunlocks to unblock the patients sim card using EXPRESSUNLOCKS so she can contact friends and family. After paying £11.99 for an initial check it then asked for a further £25.99 to unblock the phone. I became suspicious and wanted to cancel this transaction but there is NO CONTACT NUMBER or CUSTOMER SERVICE to help to get a refund.

The customer, who is terminally ill and on oxygen, realised she was with a different network so she needed to cancel this transaction but the EXPRESSUNLOCK website does not give any guidance or help! Can anyone reading this advise me how to get the patients money back?

There Are Hidden Charges

I changed carrier and wanted to use my existing phone. Searching google found Expressunlocks. Their site indicated customers to pay $28.99 to unlock any phone. I paid the fee than after checking, they asked for additional $63 to unlock it. They don't indicate anywhere that customers must pay this fee, not until after the initial payment is made. All they indicate is that unlocking service operates in two phases, but no mention of any additional fees. Also, they won't refund the money. Sorry but nothing other than total sham.
