Unethical Seller
Ordered a lens from My Digital Land, waited for a month and no status update so i tried to cancel my order, they said it would be shiped the following week. Tried for the third and fourth time to cancel my order and finally filed a dispute with PayPal.
Now i got a tracking number for the lens but being that i dont want it and i we tried to get the order cancelled several times with them and they still ship after more than a month is so bad and i guess this is part of their strategy.
Finally the only thing i can say is... STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER!

Didn`t Receive Order
Stay far away from "Mydigitaland". I have 5 weeks waiting on a canon lens. In the 5 weeks I waited, it was not possible to get in touch with Mydigitaland. Only after creating a Paypal dispute came a mail message from Mydigitaland with the message that the money will be sent as soon as possible back to my account. Mydigitaland excused themselves by saying that their computer had been broken down and all their data was lost. Meanwhile, the price of the lens increased 500 DKK, so I could not buy it at the rate the lens was previously offered for sale. Of course I will never do business with Mydigitaland again.

Didn't Receive Order
After 3 weeks nothing changed in my orderstatus.
They were still "processing" my order so I told them I wanted my money back (PayPal)
The next day I got a confirmation from PayPal that I got a full refund from mydigitaland.com
So the only good thing is that refunds are fast bu I lost a lot of time waiting for the goods.
I will never order here again.

I ordered this lens from MDL as another provider had failed to deliver following 6 weeks of misery. They also happened to be Hong Kong based.
The fact of the matter is that you will have to take that little risk if you want to find your expensive electrical equipment at a bargain price. Just make sure you read the small print as many of myDigitaland's competitors do not guarantee that customs won't send you a bill in order to release your goods. In fact, most explicitly say you WILL have to pay - this despite the home pages implying that there will be no hidden charges!
I found the ordering process very reassuring with MDL - this is because it advises you that there will be no import duties as you click through your payment - you just need to tick a box asking for the item to be dispatched from a UK warehouse.
As I was concerned following my previous experience, I emailed the customer services team straight after ordering on Wednesday last week - this was late at night. I checked my email the next morning and a nice lady had emailed back to tell me the product was in stock and would be dispatched either Friday or Monday.
As promised, the lens was dispatched on Monday (yesterday) - it arrived today - WOW!
Contrary to some of the reviews out there, this company is genuine. My advice to you - and this advice goes to ordering from any none-EU company... check the small print and email them from the out-set. If there are likely to be any delays, this is giving the company in question chance to be open and up-front with you from the get-go. Most of people who have written poor reviews (and this goes for myself for the other review I wrote), wait several weeks before chasing - by this point it's pretty obvious the item is out of stock and your chances of a positive resolution are slim to none!
Will I order from MDL again? Absolutely! They are as cheap as anyone else and the service was great... All boxes ticked!

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 10.1 Tablet Wi-fi+3g
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 10.1 tablet wi-fi+3G from Digital Land in May 2013. The main reasons to by from Digital Land was
1) Price= £335, at least £150 cheaper than reputed UK sellers
2) This web site came up prominently in my Google search and it accepted payment through Google wallet
However, I read serious warnings in the reviews in all forums with regard to their customer service and quality of products they sell. I took a chance as I was buying a Samsung product and thought it would be OK for me!
Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! My Item came three weeks later and soon after there were some colourful lines started to appear in the screen. Short while later, right hand side half of the screen completely stopped working. This happened within the first 12 weeks.
I sent the tablet to Samsung in the UK but refused to repair as it was not made for the region. They were sympathetic!!
Digital Land simply sent me a Email, 2 weeks after contacting them 3 times by email (they did not answerphone) asking me to send the tablet to Hong Kong! I copied it here FYI

My advice to any body read this; "THINK VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY FROM THIS SELLER. IF ANY THING GOES WRONG YOU LOSE MONEY, GOODS AND TIME"

Didn't Come Up With The Goods But Made A Prompt Refund
That says it all. I placed the order and waited and waited. Nothing seemed to have happened after 2 weeks and so I wrote to them asking for them to cancel the order and to give me a refund. They did this straight away and the refund was credited to my Paypal account within hours.

I Ordered A Camera And A Week Later No Progress Up
I ordered a camera and a week later no progress update, no further emails and unable to contact them on phone or email. As I had paid through paypal I reqested they give me a refund after figuring out that waiting for the goods was going to be far too much hassle, unlike the rest of the so called MyDigitalLand customer service they actually refunded me straight away without saying anything not even a sorry. I wouldn't like to be in the possition where I didn't have paypal to back me up.

Repetedly Unique And Amazing Shopping Experience!
Customer service: Emails were replied to within few hours on working days. The reply is valuable and directly addresses the question or request.
Shipping: The seller clearly shows in the shipping estimate and on checkout that shipping takes up to 18 days. All three orders I placed with the seller arrived in this time. Shipping from the UK to Germany was via DHL Express.
Packing: The itmes were packed very well and sufficiently for the product. Better packing methods, however, do exist but they would increase shipping dramatically.
Online shop: The translation into German is not the best, but from my point of view, it really doesn't matter. The seller focusses on the important things and did this more than perfect.
Conclusion: I had repetedly a unique and amazing shopping experience with a perfect service. I would highly recommend this shop (with the only restriction, that the buyer should be able to read and hence could notice that the delivery takes up to 18 days).
