This request is not absurd as you put it, If it was made before you accepted my funds, from my credit card and verified my email as being valid.

The absurd thing is your request after the fact, when I have no access to any kind of scanner or fax machine and in fact I am in bed recovering from an operation.

The very reason I joined your site was I was going to be recovering for 2 weeks and I thought this would be a fun distraction. However I am not having fun and am spending my day defending myself against accusations that I am not the same person that was verified only a couple of weeks ago. 888's customer service is the worst I have encountered. I was mid-tournament with loads of chips and in the money positions. Here's the killer: I called and went all in preflop with pocket aces when their server crashed and kicked me out of the game. I couldn't get back in despite trying for over an hour. The customer service phone number was inactive and there was no live chat facility or anything similar. I had to contact them through Twitter in the end and when they finally came back to me the following day they admitted that their error had caused all this and they could see that I had won my my current hand. There was a serious pot that would have made the final table easy.

Their solution to my issue was pathetic - they offered me a dollar!! Yes, A DOLLAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told them where to stick it and immediately closed my account. Be warned - if you actually need to interact with 888 you will be seriously disappointed.
