Paid £200 for an item that has never arrived. Apart from initial communication the seller has disappeared. I am now in the process of building a case with PayPal. My bad experience has made me determined never to use the site again!

I registered today with this company and the site, the customer service and value for money are just great.

I am disgusted with Gumtree and have high hopes of this new place for me to advertise.

When I can be sure of the coverage I will give 5 stars.

Like:

- I sold my folding caravan in less than a day

- Got more responses from Freeads.co.uk than elsewhere

- My details were kept private so I stopped getting hassled as soon as I took my ad off.

Dislike

- email messaging not available in some categories

- lots of emails about my ad

- lots of advertising (although not as bad as some other classifieds)

Generally had a good experience. What more could I ask for?

Generally a really good site. I found that the site easy to search and the range of adverts, particularly in the pets category, was excellent. I placed a wanted advert and also contacted a number of advertisers through the site - it took a while but i did find a perfect new puppy!

My main criticism would be that the site should be faster but is slowed down by the number of adverts (company adverts rather than classified adverts). Though simple, the place ad process is a little on the long side and the number of emails received is a little more than I would like. However, Freeads did ultimately do what i need it to (just a little slower than I would have liked)!
