Do Not Use! Awful Customer Service And Products

Do not use this company which also goes by the name Fruits Galore. Review is based on new management. Received a fruit basket for my birthday and saw that there were several fruits that were rotten. Called immediately to notify company. They asked for pic which I sent then offered a £10 refund after having charged the poor sender approx £50! They said the cheese and wine were fine so this was justified. The cheese and wine they sent were £2 each at retail value! The overall basket clearly was not up to scratch and I told them that it wasn't acceptable for sender to have paid for such a bad gift when clearly they trusted this company to deliver a premium product. NO REPLY FROM COMPANY. Called to follow up on behalf of sender and spoke to the most awful man who insisted that I was wrong and spoke over me repeatedly saying he can't be bothered about the 1 complaint from me when he is running his business. Yeah right! With his attitude and products I'd be really surprised if most people were happy with this company! He finally said I could have a full replacement basket or nothing so I needed to decide. Obviously accepted this as he wasn't prepared to refund the sender as he should have done. Got replacement basket today with half the portion of fruit in it even though he offered to replace full basket. Called him to tell him this and he unceremoniously told me that he can't be bothered dealing with me anymore (with what sounded like his wife in the background telling him what to say) and hung up!! How can companies like this get away with being so disrespectful to customers when they have been sent an inferior product!! Do not use this company if you want to send anyone a gift. The person receiving it will not be thankful when they receive rotten fruit and have to deal with the most unpleasant man in the fruit business!!!

Fabulous

I read these reviews with horror. But on speaking to the man on the phone he assured me this company had been taken over by new management & ownership in December 2013. They were very efficient and the quality of fruit & baskets was excellent

I have tried phoning them regarding an order I placed. The phone number does not work. I have emailed them three times - so far no response. Very poor.

Cannot Believe This Company Are Still Trading! Fru

Cannot believe this company are still trading! Fruit and flowers never arrived for my mothers birthday and I never had a refund. This was now a year ago! Disgraceful.

No Problems At All!!

I like many others did not find this website until after I'd placed my order for a fruit basket for my poorly mum. Imagine my horror when I read these reviews whilst waiting on the delivery......I placed the order on a Friday evening, received an e mail on the Monday to say it had been shipped and on Tuesday my mum called to say it had been delivered and she was over the moon..... happy mum happy me......I have nothing bad to say, I didn't give 5 stars as I never actually saw the basket myself as I live in the USA. I would use this website again.

Never Use Company

Ordered fruit basket and got confirmation email to say delivery wed 7th August. Waited all day and for 1 hour longer 8am till 7pm and nothing arrived. Rung the next day to check what had happened and was told that email incorrect as delivery was for thurs. said no go as couldn't wait in again and as delivery address couldn't be altered that day then order cancelled and was told refund should be given within a few days. I left it a week and still didn't see refund but as was goin on hol decided to chase when I got back if still hadn't been done. 3 weeks later I rung them enquiring about my refund - got apology and promised I would get refund - managed to get email confirming refund and promised that by following fri would definitely be received. A week later still nothing and now they do no answer phone. I have emailed and now am writing letter - They deserve NO stars but unfortunately doesn't let me pick that NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - BRITISH BOUQUETS

ORDERED A FRUIT BASKET. COURIER APPARENTLY TRIED TO DELIVER AND LEFT A NOTE AS OUR FRIENDS WERENT IN.OUR FRIENDS WERE IN AND NO NOTE WAS LEFT. STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND.HAD AN EMAIL STATING THEY WOULD GET BACK TO US STILL WAITING 5 WEEKS LATER.

I wish i'd read all these reviews before. Order placed a week ago for next day delivery and still nothing has arrived. 4 emails and 2 answerphone messages later and no replies. What a joke. Never use this company!!!!

Do Not Use This Company. I Ordered A Basket Of Fru

Do not use this company. I ordered a basket of fruit to be delivered for a friend who's young son has just died. This was obvious by the condolence note I sent.The order was placed in 13th Aug and the money taken immediately for next day delivery. I have emailed several times with no response. Today, 3rd Sep, still no delivery. Shameful.

Ordered For Delivery, Hasn't Arrived And Taken Money

Don't be taken in by the website.I'm not sure if this company is legit? They do not answer the telephone, take your money on the day of processing. My parents are still waiting for their fruit basket to arrive, now a day later for an anniversary. So disappointed as I could have used any other company but chose this one and they have let my parents and myself down badly. I can't get the day back, the anniversary celebrations back or it would seem the £24.98 that I spent.

Don't use them use another company that everyoe knows and that will not let you down. It may cost you £2.00 more but it would be worth it.
