Does This Company Even Exist?

I made an order through their website a few weeks ago, only for the order not arrive and no communication from the company. There is no contact number you can get through to, there is no person to contact apart from their help centre which is appalling. I have reported my non delivery on a number of occasions I have received one email stating "Is my complaint resolved?" when I said no, I checked my account and it clearly states that my complaint is resolved even though I have still not received my order!

I checked the company address at Sanderson House, Leeds, and spoke to the estate manager who runs the building "THERE IS NO COMPANY OF THE NAME THERE!!!" even though when you google or check their website it clearly states Sanderson House Leeds!

Please please do not buy from this company you will waste your money, but the website still operates and easily takes your money very qucikly.

I do not believe this company exists anymore!

Easy And Convinient

Have a rental service. Bought a few machine for alot less the price than in Norway.

Have had a few repairs since they are handled heavy by people that rent them.

Spareparts etc on quarantee has been delivered free of charge.Always got good support by phone to repair things to save money on expencive service guys.

Have had many machines over the years. The brands Eskimo Joe`s supplies are Italian brands.Very good quality.

I have not experienced any problems and i have been in the buisness for 15 Years.

Easy to order, and since i have experience wit frozen beverage, I off course know to handle machines, but when i need help I always have found a solution.

And the syups are great. All my customers are happy. The sugarfree is very popular. Finally a syrup with no sugar that doesent taste like soap water.

I think beeing a customer of this brand in my case has been easy and convinient.

I bought everthing through UK.But now they are also in Norway so the service is even better than ever.

I absolutely recomend Eskimo Joe`s

But i have not bought from Australia though. This was from UK

An Australian Company Who Are Not To Be Trusted.

We decided to buy a used Slush Maschine from this company after readfing their own self review of how wonderful the company were.

No need to worry, after all, there is an "ESkimo Joe's " UK Branch isn't there ? well actually, NO there isn't.

Eskimo Joe's Slush is controlled wholly from Australia, all you will get in the UK is a hotch potch of various companies who contract repair for the Australian head office.

Anyway, we decided to buy a used Slush machine from Eskimo Joe. £850 including delivery (which took well over a week after receipt of payment.) Unpacked the delivered item, followed all instruction to prepare the machine for first use, switched it on and nothing !!!!!!!!!.

Contacted EJ's via email and waited for a reply, strange that replies always arrived in the middle of the night.

The upshot was that we were asked all the usual humdrum questions about unpackaging (Did we smash the crate open with a sledge hammer) answer - No.

(Did we drop tyhe machine from aheight greater than 3 metres ) answer - No.

OK, I am exaggerating a little but you get the drift of what I am trying to say.

Then as told that an engineer could come out but would take some time to arrange and I would have to pay. - WHAT !!!!!!

OK, I want to return the item please - Then you have to repackage the item in original crate and I have to pay for shipment.

If the item has been opened then I have to pay for EJ's to repackage back to original standard. - for which there is a charge

If the item has been removed from original packaging then I have to pay for the itme to be professionally cleaned by them - for which there is a charge.

The item itself has to be inspected and tested before it can be resold - for which there is a charge.

No English service centre to contact, no telephone numbers, no names to speak to, NONE OF THIS IS DECLARED IN THEIR SALES PITCH !!! Here I am nearly £900 down and I am dealing with a company which does not even exist in the UK and operates under Australian Laws and Australian customer service guidelines.

Heed my warning folks, Do NOT buy any equipment from "Eskimo Joe's Slush Machines" you will regret it and they will leave you high and dry - Oh, and Broke.
