I recently purchased some Goldenseal from Indigo Herbal.

The documented dosage was 1-3ml 3 times a day.

I took 1ml the first day and everything was ok.

The next day I took 2ml.

I was layed up in bed with a really bad stomach ache and Diarrhea for 5 days.

I had really bad stomach pains and found it difficult to work especially since I was in the toilet up to 10 times a day.

When I called to complain, I was told that their Quality Manager would call me back and they did not on two occasions.

They said that I had an allergic reaction.

I informed them that if they are selling something that can make someone feel so ill for so long if they receive an allergic reaction then they need to enable the customer to find out if they are allergic to what they are selling.

I asked for compensation for them making me feel so bad for so long and they refused.

I wonder if their directors would expect any if they had puchased something which was supposed to make them feel better and made them feel so ill for 5 days.

I was told that herbs were despatched on the day of order and yet took nearly three weeks to arrive in a postal system that takes absolutely no more than six days any other time.When arrived,I found that they are of the poor quality.Won't shop there again.

I have been using Golden Seal root powder for nearly 30 years now. My usual supplier had a delay so I sourced it with this indigo herbs. I received the package packed nicely. Cut it open and immediately noticed a strange smell! Golden Seal powder usually has a strong bitter aroma and the tea is also very bitter in taste. This so called Golden Seal powder smelt like Slippery Elm!!!! Very odd...extremely odd. It was a little more pale in colour to what I am used to and the tea had the aroma of Slippery Elm powder and tasted mildly bitter.

What is this world coming to when people are now "cutting" herbal products. This is not cocaine people...why on earth water it down with something else!! What I received was NOT Golden Seal powder, possibly 25% golden seal and the rest was goodness knows what!

I will never buy from indigo agian and recommend that people find some other source for Golden Seal root powder.

I love this site. They always have wonderful health giving foods and they are so helpful if I need to phone. I have recommended them to dozens of clients, family and friends who are all pleased as well.My favorite products are Barleygrass and Acai Berry, but I have tried many others and found them to be good quality and value.

Awesome, I ordered my product late morning / early afternoon and got it the next day in the morning (Now thats fast in ecommerce terms).

I have always had a next day delivery and I think alot of these ecommerce sites on the internet could do with a lesson from Indigo Herbs!
