Worst Company Ive Ever Dealt With

ordered and paid for 4 pieces of furniture on sept 8th 2017 they delivered 3 pieces on december 08th 2017

still no 4th piece now been told off they gave gone bust they still owe me £250 i have sent over 100 emails still nothing avoid please avoid

Terrible Customer Service

Faulty item delivered and direct furniture land firstly offered a 50% discount to keep as seen but when I said no I wanted a replacement they have said they can't as the item was signed for. They make up their own rules and completely disregard the law!! They even gave a link to the consumer rights act on their website but they fail to understand it's contents:

I quote "If you discover the fault within the first six months after buying the product, it is presumed to have been there since the time of purchase - unless the retailer can prove otherwise".

Email from the sales support manager:

We seem to be going around in circles here.

Let me state our facts.

We delivered the item, it was your responsibility to check it, if you declined the item to be opened YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE SIGNED FOR THE ITEM AS OK AND SHOULD HAVE SIGNED FOR AS UNCHECKED.

You also signed to say the packaging was ok.

On the basis we don’t make damaged furniture we can only assume you have damaged this after the delivery. If this was done during transit the carton would have been damaged, it was not damaged as per your signed declaration on the POD.

Very professional email! What ever happened to the customer is always right???? Please take your custom else where and AVOID!

Couldn't Fault Anything

I purchased from this company about 18 months ago and I am about to order again. I read with surprise some of the negative reviews. One can only speak as one finds and my experience was brilliant.

From order to delivery was about 7/8 weeks which was longer than I expected but ok. The delivery was good - not what I would call white glove and I did have to ask them to remove all packaging.

The furniture was very good quality. There were a couple of issues and two items that needed to be replaced and this was arranged and carried out promptly.

I have recommended this company to others and I would and will use again.

No Communication And No Money Back Yet

I will be taking to social media with this message as well.

My wife ordered a oak coffee table from Direct Furniture Land and it arrived on 30th November 2017. Unfortunately, we had to reject delivery due to it poor quality/manufacture. It had numerous cracks and splits.

The courier marked the item as rejected and took it away to be sent back to Direct Furniture Land.

After trying to contact Direct Furniture Land via numurous telephone calls and emails, no representative has had the decency to get back to me.

We want our money back and are now going to take legal action.

Do not buy from this company! Very unprofessional!

Customer Service Needs To Improve

I ordered 3 items on the 28 Oct and received them 15 December, even though the advertise 7 -10 days delivery.

I emailed twice asking for an update on delivery and stated that I would be claiming my money back through the credit card company but got no response. Received a text on the 5th Dec confirming delivery date. I am very pleased with the furniture which are of a good quality and price. It’s a shame that they do not communicate better with their customers. The delivery arrived within the 3 hr slot given and also rang 30 minutes before arriving and took all the packaging away.

Terrible Service

Do not touch with a barge pole. Item clearly in stock when placing the online order. Took payment then never hear anything. Promised delivery after 1 week but couldn’t say what day. Now informed item out of stock. Are these people for real!!!!

Damage My House And Faulty Furniture

Do not touch with a barge pole. Furniture many be cheap and good quality but if yours is damaged in transit like mine was then you are screwed. Constant promises to send replacement pieces. 1.5 months later as nothing. Funnily enough took them a week to get over 2ks worth of furniture to my house the first time. Delivery men damaged my newly decorated house. Wallpaper ruined and nothing was done about it. They lied and said I hadn't complained in timescales. Last time I check, a next day complaint was prompt. Weasels! Do not use!

Excellent Product And Service.

Having read some bad reviews I was rather worried about ordering from this company, However, I contacted them prior to ordering to ask for assurance regarding delivery and I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received. The person I dealt with from sales was most helpful and true to his word I have received my furniture today after ordering just over a week ago. I am very happy with my purchase of a sidebaord and nest of tables which is excellent value for money and I think will be ordering more. I have seen these very same items in stores near me for double the price. Thank you Direct Furnitureland.

Great Value And Delivery Very Impressed

Read some bad reviews on here so thought I should share my experience. I ordered an item that should have cost over £300 for £150. I received item within 2 weeks and the delivery company removed all packaging and placed in desired location. I absolutely cannot fault this purchase or delivery and I would definitely recommend to a friend and purchase again.

Avoid This Company

Ordered two items of furniture back in January expecting 7-10 day delivery as advertised. They don't keep you updated, you have to do all the chasing via phone calls and emails. After constantly being given excuse after excuse over where the furniture was, finally cancelled the order after nearly 3 months. Refund was promised but never materialised. Had to make a claim through the credit card company. Be very wary of this company, it doesn't even deserve 1star.
