Speedshift Logistics Lived Up To Its Name
Speedshift Logistics lived up to its name. It is not scared by 'ugly freight' as long as it fits on a pallet. I needed my newly bought milling machine (Bridgeport clone) to be shipped from Leicestershire to North London and they took on the task. I received an ample advice and detailed guidance how to prepare the machine for shipment. The company literally saved me a lot of money so thank you very much!
Beautifully Packed Pallet Of Tiles Smashed To Smithereens
I returned a pallet of very well packed tiles to Victorian Plumbing. I saw the pallet safely on to Speedshift’s collection lorry. Two days later I get a photograph of a totally trashed pile of tile from Victorian.
I forwarded this to Speedshift and they accept no responsibility whatever. The weight of the pallet was around 120 kilos and to insure it would have cost £1.30 per kilo as I understood it..so I did not
When I showed them the destruction they did not want to know and denied responsibility.

Damage Caused By Negligence. Avoid.
Last month our pallet of roof tiles was delivered by being dropped off the back of a lorry. The haulage company used (AFS/Meachers - Southampton) dropped the pallet and it's pallet truck off the back of its lorry. AFS accepted liability. On top of losing our tiles we had to wait 2 weeks for Speedshift to agree to pay £200 for a skip for these to be removed and many hours of our time to move them ourselves.
I have provided Speedshift with invoices for both the tiles and skip and they refuse to provide updates on the claim and emails go ignored. Today I called to be told that the guy I have been dealing with doesn't actually deal with claims, despite all the requests for information coming from him. And then today there was a comment from the lady answering the phone that roof tiles are not covered. Perhaps read your liability clause of your T&Cs. I have demanded my claim number and the name of their insurer to pursue with the Financial Ombudsman Service. AVOID

Absolutely Terrible, No Customer Sevice At All, Bad Service
If only you could leave negative stars. What an utterly awful company to deal with. Failed collections is a pain, but to be expected from time to time, but after a failed collection the next day their courier picked up our pallet we'd left in the compound, moved to the edge of the road on the drive apron then just left it and drove off, for anyone to take, hit, anything. Speedshift could not be less interested in this as an issue. We ended up sending our own van to deliver the goods - so speedshift felt like they should give us a 50% refund - for them not doing anything other than risking our goods by moving them. The driver didn't make any attempt to make his presence known to either office or workshop staff and unfortunately the layout of our premises means the area is not overlooked. Requests for management to contact us have been ignored.
There are plenty of pallet couriers out there - save yourself some hassle and don't ever, ever, ever use speedshift.

Booked a collection, received phone call to say make sure it's ready they were coming that afternoon...sat in all day no one came, no phone call no explanations..phoned them the next day they assured me they were on the way again sat in all day...no one came. Awful awful customer service. Just go with someone else is all I can say...0* if I could.

They Will Happily Take Your Money For Courier Serv
They will happily take your money for courier services but then fail to deliver the labels and make up excuses as to why they have not send them.

Found this company hard to talk to my bike was loaded on pallet tried down but damaged both sides because we didn't take pictures of it upright so insurance void if they have insurance Don't use this company we loaded as they said even if we had pictures it would only be insurance on weight.they say now best find proper service who answer phone

THEY DID NOT HONOUR MY CONTRACT

I LOST HALF A DAY OFF WORK WAITING FOR THEM AND COULD WAIT NO LONGER.
THEY DID NOT HEED MY REQUEST THAT A 350LG ENGINE SHOUL DNOT BE LEFT ON THE DRIVEWAY AS I HAD NO WAY OF MOVING IT SAFELY INTO THE GARAGE AND HENCE IT SHOULD BE DELIVERED WHEN SOMEONE IS HOME TO OPEN THE GARAGE.
TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THE DRIVER LEFT A 350KG ENGINE ON A PALLET RIGHT SLAP BANG IN FRONT OF MY FRONT DOOR WHICH WE COULD NOT USE SAFELY AND WHICH CAUSED INJURY TO MY YOUNG CHILDREN. PHOTOS AVAILABLE.
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE AND ATTITUDE.
THE 3 EMAIL ADDRESSES LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE DID NOT WORK WHEN I TRIED TO SEND AN EMAIL COMPLAINING. ALL 3 BOUNCED BACK.
THEIR WEB BASED MESSAGE SERVICE DOES NOT GIVE THE SENDER AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT THAT YOUR MESSAGE HAS GONE.
IN MY OPINION THEY ADVERTISE SERVICES FOR WHICH THEY CHARGE ADDITIONAL COSTS BUT ARE NOT SET UP TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE- I FEEL DECEIVED AND ROBBED.
PLEASE ALL BEWARE OF SPEEDSHIFT

Arranged for a pallet to be be collected, on 17/5.. Still not collected on 23/5. They don't answer the phone. Eventually gave half the money back.
