I've used TYVC several times over the years and have always found thier staff to be friendly and engaging.

Our latest job required the men to move all my item from my 3rd floor flat and take it to my new 2nd floor flat.

The guys got on with things with no moaning and were very polite all the way through.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable man & van company.

I had a move with these guys today and they were amazing!!! They arrived on time, did my move with no fuss and even helped put together furniture.

There is a reason the quote is cheap. Based on the experience, I can't recommend them to anyone. It started already, when the 2 blokes are polite and pleasant.

Slow Speeds. I recognise I have quite a lot of stuff, but they took over 2 hours to load stuff that fit into a 50 sq ft storage. My previous removalist took 1 hour to bring up those stuff.

Van is not maintained: The van has no brake! I was sitting in the van, and it was quite an experience. I have to say the guy was a good driver who managed to stop the van fine with handbrake and down shifting, but driving without a working brake is dangerous. He said the brake just stopped working, but I don't buy that, as he mentioned it happened before.

Van is not equipped: The van has some rug as padding, but has not clips and nothing to anchor the furniture, mirror, and TV. Not very safe. The driver was careful not to run over bumps, etc. But, still. A removals company should do better than this.

Insurance: Insurance is not included in the quote. The crew started moving, and they asked if I had insurance half way into the job. I thought it was included, so I was asked to call the office to add it. The office refused, as the job already started. So, I ended up moving £4000 worth of stuff with zero insurance on a van that doesn't have brake!

Hidden surcharges: I was charged £7 for petrol, for a 20min distance. (I was quoted £2) I was also charged £20 for my flat didn't have lift, which they did tell me during booking. Also, they are not able to fit 50 sq ft of stuff into their van, so I ended up paying another £20 for a second van that showed up with the 2nd man.

I was charged £137, and I gave £13 tip. It was not expensive, but things are cheap for a reason. If you are ok with van that may not have working brake, no insurance by default, and a bunch of surcharges, go ahead.

I recently used the Yellow Van company and I must say I was a bit sceptical but the price they quoted I took a gamble.

First of all, how lucky I was to take the gamble and book with these guys. They were punctual (30mins early) and informed me they had arrived. We booked 2 guys. Jamal and Zoltan were the guys. They were very polite and courteous.

We booked for a minimum 2 hours moving stuff from the storage depot to our new flat. We did inform them their was going to be stairs in advance.

Everything was moved over within 90mins and not one thing got damaged. I even had some extra stuff in my car which they offered to help me with as they still had time.

Excellent service from start to finish and I would recommend using these guys.

The area which these guys were working was for West London.

I used the company for the first time. I found them exceptionally unhelpful. Firstly, they were forty minutes late to pick the item up. Although they charged me the minimum for two hours, it required ten minutes for them to complete the job. Regardless of this, they still stuck on a load of charges for apparently carrying the ONE item, even when I was assured by the man onsite at pick-up that they barely assisted. They were generally rude and abrupt and I would never use them again.

Used this company yesterday and I have to say they are amazing. The man on the phone was very nice and polite and the man who moved me was very strong and got the job done quick.

I paid £24 for a move for Bethnal Green to Kennington when other companies were charging me around £85 for the same job.
