The Worst Company I Have Ever Dealt With

This is the most unprofessional that I have ever dealt with. I purchased travel insurance and have been on hold for 5 days trying to get through to the ‘correct department’ to discuss my plan. The staff are rude and extremely unhelpful. Do not book anything through this company.

Unresponsive. Unable To Get A Reply From Them

They auto renewed a policy and am trying to cancel. I have tried 3 times to get a reply but they will not respond.

Are policies even valid when in a dead persons name and renewed after their death?

Bought Schenghan Insurance As Their Web Site Said

Bought Schenghan insurance as their web site said their insurance was accepted for all eu countries visas requirement With a money back guarantee.

The visa centre clerk just looked at the top of the policy that said Europ and said sorry their policies are not acceptable. I had paid £602 . When I phoned Europ they didn’t dispute that their policy was not acceptable but nonetheless refused to refund me.

No Refund After Visa Refusal

They are going to refund my premium amount even after my visa refusal by the embassy. Irony is that one of the reasons is that "I don't have a valid policy".

Don't buy policy from them.

Worst Insurance Ever - Warning Don't Book Them It Is A Waste

From a client perspective I paid the fee to get the extra insurance this is very disappointing to hear. I really hoped that we could solve this matter to a successful outcome. Despite several attempts to reach a human client service agent in verbal and written form, I only get a delayed standard response with a standard mail Europe Assistance without a name behind it. It seems that the responsibility behind is left open and any human follow-up and requests to call me back were not carried out.

I would have loved to recommend you and rebook the insurance with you, especially because I am a frequent business and private flyer. But your reaction from April to now, 30th of June 2023 see historic documentation in your claims tool, seems to push for denying instead of solving clients issues.

Instead of quick and easy, it seems long and annoying. I responded writtenly and verbally through your service line that I sent in the requested documents. Very disappointing rating in google and social media is no surprise! Do not book them. It is a waste of money and time

The worst ever insurance you ever could think of. Will never recommend Europe Assistance. We had an incedent submitted all the claims and refuse to pay any of them, just refer us to terms and conditions with no explanation.

Please DONOT buy insurance from this company especially travel insurance. They never cover anything when it is time to claim even if the case is emergency. They do not follow what is written on the policy. You will only waste your money and time. They will give a lot of reasons so they can reject your claim. Be careful, this is sham!!!

Deceitful Travel Insurance Policy!

When purchasing a travel insurance policy, you are told that you can get full refund if you get denied a visa. Nothing is said about what are the requirements to get a refund!

The request to cancel the insurance policy was made but was declined because the request did not meet their refund requirements (which was never mentioned and every consumer MUST BE TOLD this information):

1- less than 14 days

2- coverage hasn’t started yet

3- Policy has to exceed 30 days!!!! This is the catch.

My request met both #1 and #2 requirements but #3, the duration of the policy was 15 days based on my holiday trip!

Why does the policy have to be more than 30 days to be eligible for refund? Very deceitful?

Constantly Avoiding Covid Travel Insurance Claim, Avoid

Three kids took out Covid travel cover via MSC Cruises website. 2 days before cruise daughter tested Covid positive, meaning us parents and all three kids could not travel, missed cruise. My claim was paid out in less than 3 weeks. I complied with exactly all the documented files they requested on their online portal. Europe Assistance took 7 months of constant chasing, resending files, constant agony of their lack of progress before they eventually paid up!

Kids claim was fought tooth and nail by Europe Assistance. Complied to the very letter to everything they requested on their claim portal. Claim status was stuck on "Received" for weeks at a time. One period of time everything I had uploaded disappeared, status gone back to "No claim logged". Often difficulty getting logged on, hit and miss, constantly having to reset passwords.

Only good thing about this company is that telephone queries where answered fairly quickly. Polite operatives were sympathetic, but can do nothing but add a note on account that responses being chased. Never did see any evidence on the portal of any notes. Tried threatening with grievance procedures, they were indifferent, you have to WRITE IN to an address in France with all documentation!

Avoid this company at all costs, almost seemed like a bad company at times!

My flight was canceled, but because they told me one day before the departure I didn t get any refund or whatsover.
