My wife and I went to a Punta Cana resort in Jan 2015 and used Dominican Airport Transfers to shuttle us from the airport to the hotel (about 20 km drive) and back after our vacation. The reservation web site is easy to use, the van was there waiting for us when we arrived and was 15 min ahead of time at the hotel on the way back. They are easily identifiable (holding a sign with the name). The service was professional, courteous. We are very pleased with the company and highly recommend it to others. Note that they have been in business for a while and have an A+ rating with the BBB.

Our first impression of Punta Cana was set by this company. I flew into Punta Cana airport in March with my 16-year-old daughter – our first trip to Punta Cana. We were so excited to spend a few relaxing days in a beautiful country. Unfortunately, our experience with this transfer group was atrocious and we didn’t get to our hotel (Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro) until 3 hours after our arrival! The staff and driver treated us like cattle – not paying customers – and we found the whole experience to be unprofessional, discourteous and rude. We had to wait 20 minutes at the desk when we checked in, we then waited alone in a car for another 20 minutes. Another couple soon joined us and we further waited in the car. Eventually the driver returned and moved us to another larger van. He then left us for 25 minutes or so. When he finally returned, we were extremely agitated and upset. He drove us out of the airport, barely saying a word of apology or recognition of our distress. 10 minutes into the trip to the hotel, we noticed that he turned around on the highway and heading in the opposite direction. We asked him what was happening, and he said we need to return to the airport to pick up more passengers. At this point we were extremely exasperated and furious. Needless to say, he picked up 6 more people and dropped them all off at hotels BEFORE dropping us off! This was an absurd experience and extremely insulting to clients. We will be telling everyone we know who travel to Punta Cana to NOT use the Dominican transport services.
