No No No !!!!!

Perhaps it will convey how awful it has been dealing with this company, to say that our 2 year experience of dealing with this company, STILL with them avoiding the issues, is so extensive that we are making a documentary detailing the catalogue of incidents with them.

Too numerous to list here, they range from our £5000 purchase being wrongly delivered FOUR times, the product completely wrongly specified, dangerous to use, evasion of the issues, lack of response by the director to vital emails, and even to the level of a lack of concern when my mother was actually injured by the product. There is much much more, hence the need for a documentary to inform people of what they can expect in dealing with this company.

We will publicise this widely on completion (soon) as we truly believe that vulnerable people are in danger from this company. We will simply list in detail the occurences of the last 2 years, and people can make up their own minds. Our position is £5000 out of pocket, no acceptance of responsibility from the company, and a product that does not work

Do Not Keep Promises

I was planning to move to a new property and placed an order for a bed cost £1500,

Explained I will not need the bed until I move, However as the move was 4/5 months ahead Lay brooks persuaded me to go ahead and have the bed delivered to my existing address so that I cold use it immediately.

Owing to the special fittings I was concerned about disassembling the bed and install it in my new premises.

I was told not to worry as for a cost £200 the move the bed and resemble it. but would need 2 weeks notice.

I informed them that my moving date will be 24th January 2022.

They said no way will they move it and if I get it moved the warranty will be invalid

So in other words hard luck, we have your and we do not care about you.

I am 88 living on my own so I will have to leave the bed for the removal men to breakup, and buy a new bed for my new flat,

What an uncaring company Laybrooks are

Fantastic Service - Even During Covid-19

We needed a special mattress for an adjustable bed and a grab rail for someone unexpectedly and rapidly discharged from hospital. From first contact to delivery customer service from Laybrook was simply outstanding.

One person helpfully guided us to the correct products and helped sort out the order and another person made sure it was delivered as quickly as possible due to our urgent need.

At all stages of the process we were kept regularly informed of progress which was helpful and reassuring.

The products were exactly what we needed, of high quality and reasonably priced.

I would definitely recommend Laybrook to anyone interested in the wide range of products they supply based on our excellent experience.

Terrible, Terrible Service!

Bed ordered for an amputee (£1,800) on 27 Feb. Delivery was arranged for 19 March. NO BED! I called on 22 march and was told delivery was now 9 April. NO BED! I called again on 10 April and was told delivery was now 16 April. Called on 13 April to confirm delivery. NO BED! Called on 19 April. Called on 24 April. Called on 26 April. No one ever called back as promised. Finally booked another delivery for 30 April. NO BED! The bed finally arrived 9 weeks after the order. No one ever contacted me to say there would be a delay. The bed has now stopped working. This was reported a week ago with the promise of a call to arrange an engineer. No one has called. I called again today and was told nothing had been arranged and it would be another week. I despair and wonder how a company can survive when it delivers such a shoddy and completely uncaring service to disabled people. Once they have your money, not interested! Go elsewhere.

From 2 years of extremely stressful dealings with this farce of a company, I can certainly relate to your comments, and know there is no exaggeration here

Easy To Order, Excellent Advisor Was Very Helpful

EDMWN5 We needed a specialist bed for mum and the advisors were very helpful. We ordered the bed and everything was delivered and taken away as arranged. A bespoke service was offered with the choice to take away old bed which was helpful. I would recommend this company. The other websites I looked at and spoke to for the same product were not as comprehensive, helpful or as good value for money.

New Adjustable Bed

Because of 3 Brain haemorrhages 18 years years ago I was left very disabled with very little mobility unable to walkfar or bend etc I was also left incontinent and require distrect nurses to cathaterize me 3 times a day on a bed. And I also have Peripheral Neurapathy which is a very painful disease of the nervous system . After my husband( carer) died, getting in and out of bed became very difficult on my own and so I decided to buy an adjustable bed and approached Laybrooks Durham for advice and help. The very helpful lady I spoke to advised me to buy a Durham bed for all the needs I required and sent me a catalogue to make my own choices. I did decide on a Durham single bed with a matfirm 30SQ with aFirm edgeMemory foam mattress and a grab rail, plus headboard, all at a very reasonable and competitive price. I did think I waited rather a long time for delivery but was so delighted when two very helpful men came to deliver and fit the bed. I did have a minor problem after using the bed for 5 days but after a phonecall to the sales dept, the two men arrived back to make a slight adjustment to the base of bed. I am more than happy with the bed and all the help and advice I had all through the purchase of my comfortable Durham bed! I wholeheartdedly reccommend Laybrook!!

Great Service, Great Products

I am so very glad that we have discovered Laybrook Motion Furniture. The service is unbeatably fantastic; the knowledge of the staff is next to none. They have thought carefully about how the products are made and what they are made from and with, and they have considered the customers’ needs in the manufacturing process.

The products are made in Oxfordshire, in Britain by the British. It is a family-run business, and as a result we can have a clear conscience that we have made our best decision.

I sincerely recommend Laybrook Motion Furniture to anybody who cares about good quality products and excellent service and wants to help our own economy by supporting a family-run company that cares about the environment.

New Lease Of Life

Lots of medical problems were previously not letting me have a good nights sleep.

To start with a telephone call allowed us to talk over any questions we had prior to ordering.

Reviewing and comparing prices also allowed us to make our decision.

The order process was simple, the delivery guys were good and helpful and on time.

As for the bed itself, so far good quality, allows me to position myself when sleeping to aid a good sleep.

Overall very satisified with Laybrook.
