Credit Where Credit Is Due
I purchased many items from this company before they ran into difficulty. They were good value for money and had some really good products! My last order at the begining of the year was delayed due to problems with city link - I was annoyed, but understood that it was beyond their control .. They were fantastic and did their utmost to get my good to me (even if it was at their own cost). I really hope they can trade again as I wouldn't think twice about purchasing from them again!

Slow Delivery And Poor Customer Service
I ordered a mattress on 18 Feb, online, and payment was taken from my bank on 19 Feb. The following week as there was no sign of delivery I emailed to be told the mattress was being made to order - so MonsterBeds do not have items in stock they advertise for sale. On 2 March I telephoned as still no sign of mattress and I was told it was with the courier - I told them that their website is misleading as it says delivery in 3 - 5 days! So that was 4 days ago, how long does it take to deliver a mattress?
So an order made on 18 Feb and still not sign of the mattress even though Monster have taken the payment.
I would advice no-one to deal with this company!

I don't usually write reviews but this company need to be named and shamed - no one should use them!
I spoke to someone from the customer services team before placing my order and explained that I needed a quick delivery if this was possible, they said this was fine as both my items were in stock and that I would be in receipt of all my items within 3 days, perfect... or so it seemed.
The 3 days came and passed and I had still received nothing, 2 days after that I tried contacting Monster Beds via telephone roughly 20 times but no one answered the phone all day. I left an answer machine message, emailed and had no response. The following day I finally got through and was promised my items would be delivered in two parts (the bed the following day and the mattress the day after that).
The bed came however I am STILL awaiting my mattress 10 days on from the date I placed and paid for my order and again it has been the same situation today with no one answering the telephone or responding to emails.
This companies idea of ''customer service'' is quite frankly a joke. They continue to promise that they are ''looking into things'' and ''chasing the courier service'' but this is just a continuous bundle of lies.
Do not use this company if you are trying to save an extra few quid, it's not worth the hassle or time taken out of anyone's day trying to get in contact with them.

This is the worse company in the world !!! Bed was in awful condition, customer services is outrageous. I still haven't been refunded for the item even though it was collected three weeks ago after a month of going back and forth with the company. Please dont use this company as they shouldn't be trading !!!!

I emailed in December 2014 in order to raise concerns with customer service that the bed was faulty. Initially the response was that the bed had been “misused” and therefore was not eligible for repair or replacement. This decision was made without any investigation by the manufacturer or MonsterBeds.co.uk, other than the brief description of the fault I outlined in my original email. This immediately concerned me as it seemed dismissive of the problem.
Further to this I was asked to have somebody check on the item in order to ascertain which parts were damaged, which I then forwarded to them by email on 15th January 2015. This stated that I needed 9,10,11,12&13 because the connectors from 10 had faulty welds, which snapped and were now stuck inside 12 & 13. The fact that one faulty weld had given way had caused 9 to bend when the bed was lifted, putting strain on the other 2 faulty welds, which are either in the process of breaking apart or already broken.
On 19th January I was informed that the replacement cost for these items would be £60. I was also informed that your customer service assistant had contacted Trading Standards with regards the issue. I was then given false information by this person on what Trading Standards had said. I was then further informed on 20th January that the guarantee for the bed was with the manufacturer and not MonsterBeds.co.uk, I was further told that as MonsterBeds.co.uk is a “drop ship” company, responsible only for forwarding stock. This, I think, was in order to absolve their company of any responsibility for the issue, or for the cost of replacing the faulty parts.
I have since contacted Trading Standards again, and have discussed a way to move forward with this complaint. I have been informed that my guarantee, and subsequently my rights to repair or replacement, lie with the retailer – MonsterBeds.co.uk, the company that sold me the product – not the manufacturer, and so I must make any claim against them.
Furthermore, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the retailer must either repair or replace faulty goods 'within a reasonable time but without causing significant inconvenience'. Given that I raised this complaint in December 2014, and it is now nearing February 2015, I have spent almost 2 months sleeping on a mattress on my bedroom floor. I have explained previously that I am 6 months pregnant, and physically disabled. Having to sleep on the floor has caused me an increase in pain and discomfort, for which my GP has expressed severe concern. I’m sure you will agree that this constitutes significant inconvenience.
So far MonsterBeds.co.uk has ignored my complaint, and left a disabled pregnant customer sleeping on the floor.

Worst Customer Service Ever
Bed was not delivered on day company said it would be so had to cancel order on 22 December in order to obtain a replacement in time for holiday.
Since then been trying to get my money refunded. Twice been promised repayment in emails but nothing received!
This company completely ignores the Consumer Contacts Regulations, does not respond to emails or voice messages.
I am still awaiting my refund.
My advice is to avoid this company in case you need to cancel or get them to deal with a faulty item - they just ignore you!

Wooden Bed Frame Snapped After 13 Months.
I bought a small double white faux leather bed with wooden frame and mattress. A slight hiccup that the bed arrived but not the mattress - but the matter was quickly sorted and I was happy - I wrote a very positive review.
13 months later the wooden bed frame suddenly snapped. When we had a look there was a knot in the wood where the frame had snapped, which would explain why the wood frame was weak. As the guarantee is only for 12 months, I accepted it was unlikely a replacement would be free of charge. As I really liked the "look" of the bed I rang Monster Beds and explained what had happened, sent them a photo and the customer service person was sympathetic. I asked if they were prepared to replace the bed at a discounted price - I thought 20% discount would be a reasonable discountin the circumstances - that's where the sympathy ends - they offered 5% (and the price quoted was the same shown on the website anyway). They advised any increase discount meant they wouldn't make a profit ...... well I advised them they won't be making any future profit from me as I won't be a returning customer!

This is pathetic i have been waiting for my daughters bed since the first 1st of august they said it was the next day delivery so i waited the next day to see if the bed came when the bed came it was the wrong delivery so rang up they didn't answer three times then we rang up the next day they said to send the wrong package to the email they took ages ages to reply.The still took the money out of my account !!! This is the last time i order anything on this website!! rubbish !!!! HATE THIS WEBSITE IT'S RUBBISH
