Rolling In To Each Other Bed One Year Old

Worst bed ever ! We are rolling into each other the bed is only one year old - 50 emails to try and get them to look at this - I did everything they asked - and still no one will take this seriously. Warren Evans your customer service is ignoring my complaint.

I also followed all the guidelines. I’ve never been treated like this from Dreams

Wrong Mattress Delivered - Tenants Moving In Todat

Oh, FFS! Bought a new mattress for our tenants - a ‘luxury double’ from Warren Evans - and it was delivered yesterday. No paperwork or labelling on the packaging, but I’d been sent the invoice in advance, so all seemed well. However, one of the last things to go in the removal lorry was our mattress, so it was only then that we put the new one on the frame and discovered it was at least ten centimetres too narrow. By then it was about 9pm, so too late to speak to anyone in person, but I fired off an email which I’ve then forwarded to several other addresses this morning after speaking to several different people who’ve all told me different things. If I try to call the Camden branch, someone from Guildford answers, which is not made clear from the off - grrr. And now they want a photo of the misdelivered mattress with a measuring tape in place before they lift a finger, to ensure I’m not lying - the onus is entirely on me, the customer, and I’m heavily pregnant, the other side of London, and our tenants move in today and need somewhere to sleep tonight. Poor, poor show. We were planning to buy beds and mattresses from the new place from them, but there’s no way now.

I Have No Bed To Sleep On Tonight

I bought two beds and mattresses costing over 4k from warren Evans. I had my beds and mettersses taken away this morning as I thought I would have new ones tonight.

The delivery guys turned up (stinking of smoke) and very quickly looked at the staircase and said they could not carry the mattress up there as it would bend. We have a balcony that leads straight into the bedroom, but they said for insurance reasons they cannot go onto a balcony, even though the customer service person made me go to the trouble of sending photos.

They couldn't wait to leave the house and I have spend all afternoon trying to rectify the situation. The only resolution I have been given is is to wait for another 7 days for them to deliver the mattress and for me to pay some other company to carry the mattress onto the balcony. Unfortunately the delivery guys where too far away to come back in order for me to get the mattress back today, that's how quickly they wanted to leave. Obviously, getting home was more of a priority than where my husband and I are going to sleep tonight. I'm not looking forward to breaking it to my husband that the two of us will be sharing a double bed with our 3 year old for the next week at least and I still not have to go to the trouble to get someone to bring the mattress into the house, as Warren Evans could not.

Update on the review.

They re delivered the same mattress and the same delivery people stank of smoke. I then had to pay £50 for another delivery company to get it in the bedroom, which took them 5 minutes.

I had I reason to believe his would be a problem as we bought the same size sprung high quality mattresses from benson for beds 2 years ago and they had no problem getting them up the stairs of our house. We then paid someone to remove these mattresses to make room for the new ones and again had no problem with this.

Again, we had the same size mattress taken up and back down the stairs no Robles previously so I was confused as to why these delivery people could not do he same. We were left with two choices, one for them to take the bed upstairs but we would have to loose the 10 year warranty which we have paid a premium for, or order a zip and lock bed. We also have a balcony that leads straight into the bedroom, but they said for insurance reasons they cannot go onto a balcony, even though the customer service person made me go to the trouble of sending photos. These delivery people obviously do not want to deliver the bed and the customer service person who I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and came up with no resolution. I've got all my bedroom furniture from Warren Evans over a year, good quality, can get damaged in delivery but they always tend to it and delivery guys are helpful and quick!

They follow up on your order to ensure everything is correct and send you a 3 hour delivery slot so you don't have to wait in all day!

Brilliant Product, Brilliant Service

Got our new bed from Warren Evans on Monday, and it is fantastic, such a brilliant quality bed for a fantastic price, comparing it with others we went to look at it is so much more solid. The delivery service could not have been better. Got a phone call over the weekend confirming delivery for Monday, the guys who delivered & built the bed were so efficient and friendly. They also took away our old bed for the bargain price of £20, again the guys were brilliant. Will definitely recommend to everyone.

Efficient And Friendly Service

Really efficient and friendly service this morning - delivery and setup of double bed and mattress. Had a call approx an hour before they arrived and they were in and out with no fuss within about 15 mins and all packaging taken away.

Wooden Pallet With A Piece Of Ply Wood

What did we just buy !!! OK so we should have gone into the show room but lured by the black friday sale we bought online and got the Brighton bed.. they came and made the beds up.. i walked into to see what i can only describe as a wooden pallet with a piece of ply wood strapped on for the head board and it is TINY.. it is so low that the bedside tables loom over it looking ridiculous and even more stupid the mattress is lower then the head board so there is a gap.. my polish builder laughed and said he could have done better in his garage and did we get them cheap.. ! no they were not cheap but look like they should be. fortunately warren evens pick up and return for free..

Effective Penalty For Returns / Poor Products

Bought a bed and a box for under-bed storage. Bed fine. Box had no wheels / runners [not stated anywhere on the website], i.e. was simply a thin pine box with varnish on 3 sides only for which they asked £60, which would damage carpet / flooring when taken out / put back under the bed. Requested return, was told that they had to pick it up [could not be returned in person / by one's own courier], and that they would charge about £40 for that, despite the journey time from shop to mine being about 25 minutes. This is really quite harsh / money grabbing, and they were very rude on the phone about it too. Obviously their business model involves stiffing people on returns - beware.

Great All Round Experience

From entering the Chelmsford showroom to receiving the delivery of my furniture, the whole experience was excellent. Staff were helpful without being pushy, frequent communication about the progress of my order and updates about delivery which was on time. Delivery drivers took good care when placing my chest of drawers in the bedroom. Very pleased with quality of item. Nothing at all to criticise.

Great Service And Product

Bed frame delivered in a few weeks from ordering. Great value as it was in the sale. The Delivery guys were really friendly, helpful and put the bed together quickly. Really pleased with the all round experience, and enjoyed spending time in the Brighton branch deciding on the frame and colour.
