No Repair Service On Weekends

We bought a boiler less than 6 months ago that was under a two year warranty. We noticed it wasn't working on a Friday morning. We called right away and explained the error message we were getting.

They said this was a faulty piece but told us they could not guarantee a tech could come the same day. Also, they explained that we would have to pay 6o EUR to get it repaired during the weekend even though it was under warranty. We said we would have a third party come fix it since they were not willing to and they said if we did we would lose the warranty.

Mind you this happened during winter season so not only did we not have hot water but the house was freezing as well. Nobody came on Friday, nobody came on Saturday and nobody came on Sunday. We had guests visiting from abroad that weekend and they were not able to shower. When a tech finally did come on Monday, they told us the error was a simple fix and in reality had nothing to do with the error that appeared on the display.

We were completely disgusted and infuriated by the lack of concern and willingness to provide solutions displayed by Ferroli Spain. Not only do we pay over 1500EUR for a product that is faulty in less than a year, but to top it off they refuse to repair a BASIC NEED in a timely matter and also make it difficult for you to find alternative solutions.

SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND DO NOT BUY A FERROLI BOILER. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH.

Blew Up After Hundreds Of Pounds Of Repairs

The boiler lasted 7 years. During the final year, it repeatedly broke down and needed a number of replacement parts. And for the grand finale, one morning my tenant woke up to find water pouring down the walls. I was very lucky that the flat was let because the water damage was quickly controlled. These problems were despite regular professional servicing and hundreds of pounds on engineer visits. Had to install a new boiler - it was NOT a Ferroli.

Ferroli Along With Homeserve Are Useless Avoid.

HomeServe along with Ferroli are without doubt the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with in 40 years of being a Landlord and letting property, they are very happy to take your money for insurance cover and then decide that a repair is to expensive and refuse to fix, leaving a very young family with a non working gas boiler, shame on you, avoid at all costs.

Keep Away

Only had it two years leaked after having the part replaced twice. Gave up and had it replaced with a proper boiler. Dont waste your money on these awful boilers

Trouble At First And Then None At All

I think these boilers were actually good quality but because installed by heating engineer who did not really understand them there were endless troubles at first BUT once a competent Ferroli guy came and sorted it out with admittedly a lot of new parts ( must have cost them with the 5 year full warranty) it has ( touch wood ) worked like a dream ...and all the while now on boiler cover...nothing has gone wrong past two years. Some of the original errors made were of an elementary misunderstanding of how condensing boilers work...the outlet pipe must be protected from freezing and must allow gravity run out... the computer controls are actually quite sophisticated. For instance could tell when the tenant played with the water pressure 3 times and it shut itself down with error code. I dont know ...they didnt help themselves with poor service line at first but actually made have sorted all that out now. Last guy in Plymouth was excellent.

Which Ferroli model is it ? if its a newer Modena model ( 27c, 32c or 38c) it should be under warranty.

Sounds like a bad install

Ferroli I25 And I29

Fitted these boilers since they came out in 2016, as long as they have a scale reducer, sludge filter and are flushed and inhibitor added so far so good, no issues at all.

Worse Than The Worst!

We fitted several Ferroli boilers lured by their 5 year parts and labour warranty. These have to be the worst boilers ever made and have cost us a fortune in repairs/replacement. My advice, don't go near Ferroli and save yourself a lot of cost and heartache. I have just spent 1.5hrs just trying to get through to their support number!

Good Boiler Had No Problems For 9 Yares

I using Ferroli Optimax HE 31C so far no problem I did one service on it as my wife asking to do:) I dont relly know why there is so many coments about that brand. Boiler cost me £500 when new half price of the other big brands, question is are they will work longer then that normally you change the boiler every 10yr, so you can buy one for 10-12yr and pay over 1k or you can buy 2 for £600 each and use over 20yr.
