We spoke to this company and they sent a man out to see us. They came across like window sales men and not professional people like they should. We have also spoken to an adviser at Empire Commercial Finance who has helped us refinance our business, only £200,000 but he treated us like one of his larger clients. Don't waste your time on corporate advances, I would recommend Empire Commercial Finance. I tried to get a Commercial Mortgage for my business via Corp Advances however it didnt go very well. They said they needed to take a fee up front to process the application. I had no problem paying the fees up front as brokers like any business need to make money, however after speaking to them they didn't install too much confidence. It all felt that they were trying to sell me something and were very pushy! After doing some research and reading this thread I also spoke with Empire Commercial Finance, I must admit they are very good and worth paying for. The advice and service I received was fantastic, I even had a mobile number for of of the advisers who I even spoke to at weekends...... A big thumbs up for Empire they really do an excellent job, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

hi corporate advances is a fraud the company sent a man to my house to sign a paper which is a fee for a loan I did not but he signed my name on agreement.it did not make sense.be carefull with this company'there doge.i won't be surprised if watch dog be on there case.onsty is a good key'but there are bad disonsty.

I spoke to them trying to refinance my prop portfolio, they didn't seem that knowledgeable and some what junior. However having read a review on here about Empire Commercial Finance, i tried them, I would highly recommend them, ask for a guy ex Commercial Manager from RBS/Natwest, great guy and he knows his stuff.

Used this service a few years ago paid the upfront fee after meeting one of their staff at my London offices.

That was the last I heard back from him, I then tried to contact head office for 3 months straight calling maybe 4 times a week! Sometimes the phone would ring with no answer, sometimes I was given some random excuse like we will get back to you, eventually I just gave up and moved on but not once did they ever try to reach me.

I would be very careful, I'm surprised how such a company is still in business after such conduct.

Spoke to CA and they asked for a fee upfront, they seemed nice on the telephone but I then did some research and found some concerns over their ability to obtain funding. We then did a google search and found a great company called Empire Commercial Finance, great guy who's is an ex Banker from RBS.

They promise finance and do not provide proof to purchaser and take a 500pnd fee for it non returnable.The agent that comes to your house lies to you about what they can achieve and does not match up with their website and google advertising.When you complain they pretend the person not available and agent cannot talk to you to discuss.This commercial business is not regulated so you got no address with anyone.Also the boss when you get speak to him he refuses to refund fee when they cannot get finance.He also threatens you and says if you got problem come and see him and tells you stop ringing the sales agent when you complain.PLEASE USE ANOTHER COMPANY....

I used corporate advances a couple of years ago to secure the finance to buy a business. Looking back on it now I feel as though it was a complete waste of money. Initially they were very efficient and sent a sales person to my house who convinced us to pay over an initial fee. After that we found it difficult to get hold of anyone in the office as the person who was handling our application had left and then we had to hassle constantly to get help. Eventually we did get a loan offer but Corporate Advances made life very complicated by adding in a 3rd party into the equation. The business loan was in fact offered by a well known high street lender and was handled by a local bank manager. He got very frustrated with Corporate Advances aswell and couldn't understand why we hadn't got directly to them in the first place. In conclusion, I foolishly spent a few thousand pounds when I could have applied directly.

I approached CA for a commercial mortgage and was quoted rates from 4 over base my offer finally came in at 4.25% over base so i was happy with the rate, my only niggle was it was indicated that the process would take about 2 months from start to finish it did in fact drag on another month.
