They are not in Luton airport terminals
Located within Hilton Hampton hotel approx. 1 mile outside of airport. 1st stop on ‘A’bus route (bus terminal no. 10). Transfer takes 5mins and is free if you show your reservation details to the aviva bus driver. It stops right outside hotel. Located on the ground floor of hotel the staff are local, friendly and very helpful. Rates are very cheap and reminiscent of easy jet when they first did car rentals. Throughly check your car before departure for dents/scratches etc. Your allowed 95miles per day without encoring additional charges. Cars are new and very good. Tanks are left very empty as rates are same for same fuel levels. We will diffinately use green motion again

my friend and I booked a weekend away in London, Ryanair had a special with car hire, we have never booked through them before but anyway we went ahead. We collected the car and a guy showed us the the damage to the alloy went and had a good look around and carried on. we took photos of mileage and all around the car. I couldn't see the mark on the wheel as it was a bad day and light wasn't good. we were so careful the whole weekend parking in two spots so no one around would knock any of the doors. the last day we went for bfast and came back and someone had marked the car with the tiny dent in the car door passages side . Got back to the green motion car hire and the guy said they is a couple of problems the dent in the side and then they tried to say that we damage the back right passages alloy I said you are joking don't even go there but he carried on, then they said that they would not charge us for the back too dam right, then when the mileage came through they was an extra 7 on but we were under they could have charge for going over as well, we were direct with the petrol .they charge us £1325 pounds for the tiniest of dent and said that we would get a credit I said to my mate it can't be more than £4 to £500 , they could not give us a price as the dent he said was on the swage line. he was not helpful I just had a funny feeling about this company . we got a credit back £209 out of the £1325 -the vat of £24 was taken, and the bill said that it was off the road in road worthy for 4 days £600 labour charge £120 inspection fee to have the job done £144 to have a specialist for what, £12 for parts then £240 for paint and sundries but on our report it clearly state no paint broken maximum 40mm damage. - if on swage line the dent was smaller than this but we still don't know as the report does not say. they took from my friends credit card £1116 in total they are all stating that the vehicle damage impacted the car which was a load of rubbish, their police state that they give pristine cars out then why did we get one that had damage to the car. mi just seen in the independent how they took many people's money saying this is the damage which many people have not done anything to the car , I am disgusted in this company and the way they have treated us, we are still awaited for them to get back to me but as we are not in the country it is difficult to get any way. I have enailed watchdog uk and now will be going to the motor ombudsman uk . DO NOT USE I WILL ALSO BE MAKING A FULL COMPLAINT WITH RYANAIR

we took a video of the car before we drove it away because we had a bad feeling about this company, when we returned it they said there was a dent (we have videos to prove) they charged us a 154 stg , they are running a sham and we are going further about this, they are on the watchdog list in the uk AVOID THEM YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

AVOID GREEN MOTION AT ALL COST
This is a lesson learnt from not researching reviews on the company.
I went to Luton to hire a car from Green Motion company for 2 days. I only drove from airport to the hotel, hotel to exhibition hall and exhibition hall to hotel. On the return of the car, I was told there were two scratches. One is at the edge of the door and the other one was on the windscreen. The total charge would be over 300 pound. Totally out of the luck, I took a quick video before I drove off and it showed the scratch on the door there and the guy said ok very quickly and made me and my colleague felt he had known exactly where to locate those scratches. However, the scratch on the windscreen is impossible to see in the day time and the guy used a torch and examined out there was a less than 1mm scratch. I got charged for 96 pound. As a careful driver as I have always been in my life, there is no way I did that tiny scratch. I went furious. At the meantime, there was another guy returning car and got charged for over 300 hundred pound. He had two children with him, how on earth would he drive dangerously and cause those damages? He did not speak much English and went out furiously, as you can imagine.
I left with rages and googled online, showing lots of people had had similar experience back as early as 2010 from my brief search, and it could be even earlier. There was actually documentary about how this company treated customers in Channel 4 called Supershoppers Series 4 and Eps 4., Guardian reported 3 years in a row and it is also on BBC watchdog. I was silly not to check the reviews before booking, as it was a last minute booking. I hope this terrible experience won’t happen to anyone else.

I am one of the id...ts that make booking without reading reviews, twice. First time they have micro scratch on the alloy and charged me over 100£ for it and after few years when I made another reservation I got confirmation letter with list of things I need to get a car as usual credit card,I'd and driving license and for more info I need to read few pages of rubbish and I did not. When arrived around midnight to pick up my car they asked me for proof of address. Of course I did not have it so they asked for almost 200£ for special insurance.luckily friend picked me up.

I Hired A Car For 5 Days For My 72 Year Old Wife T
I hired a car for 5 days for my 72 year old wife to collect at Luton through Rentalcars.com and paid for their 'Full protection' that meant I would be fully reimbursed if there were any charges whatsoever after the rental. The car was to be collected from Green Motion Luton Airport.
We were required to print a voucher that had to be presented at the Green Motion along with my wife's licence, a DVLA print out of her licence status and 2 household bills.
When my wife collected the car they accepted her licence and the voucher clearly stating that we had 'full protection' but ignored all other documents required.
They then advised my wife that there was a £995 insurance excess on the car and that my wife would need to pay a further £130 insurance on the car.
My wife felt very pressured and intimidated as they were very pushy and when signing the papers for the car signed an agreement to pay the £130 excess cover.
When we returned the car I was there and tried to explain that they had made a mistake and that they had sold my wife extortionately high priced insurance that she didn't need as we already paid rentalcars.com less that half that for 'full protection'.
We were met with a disgraceful attitude of that's our problem not theirs, they offered insurance cover and my wife signed for it so as they concerned that was the end of it.
We have complained to them and to their head office and they refuse to refund the money. It appears that the Green Motion staff are trained to sell high priced insurance whether you need it or not and they are encouraged to make up claims for damage against clients as without this revenue the business is not profitable.
I am taking the matter to Court on a principal as this is a sham and I have information from online booking companies that everyone in the industry is aware of it but nothing is being done about it.
IF YOU HAVE HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM PLEASE LET ME KNOW, IT IS IMPORTANT.

Please be careful renting from Green Motion! Please read reviews on internet. The technik they use is to focus on all the existing scratches on the car, so you can't focus on anything else! When you return the car, they will find a small dent or scratch that was already there and they will charge you a lot of money for it! They take a copy of your credit card! mine got used the very next day to order online stuff! The credit card company is investigating it! Please read the reviews online!!! They person that took the car in was very aggressive as I refused to sign for the car return! Please be warned!
