As Genus VS helped me out for a second time, I felt I had to write a review for them, just to let people know how good they are. I'm surprised no one else has yet.

Genus VS is a small broker, a two man show I believe, Alan & Tony, going from what they say about themselves on their website genusleasing.com.

At first look their prices seems high and vague. And they don't have a comprehensive model listing, like some of the other popular website. But as you deal directly with the business owners, there is room to negotiate. And you can be sure they will spend the time with you and do the leg work to get the deal done.

Last time, Alan took the time to explain the ins and outs of GAP insurance and how it is only really useful during a very narrow window of time after the car is first delivered, which helped me balance the risk against cost.

This time I was looking for a Nissan Qasqhai+2 2.0 Ntec AVM, and had already been disappointed by another popular brokering agency.

Alan responded quickly, within hours, that there's no way I'd be able to get that model any time soon. I asked about similar spec'd alternatives.

Within the hour Alan came back to me with A Chevy Captiva 2.2 Auto LTZ, at pretty much the same money. Threw in a quote for a PCP too, if I felt that might be a better option. For delivery in 2 weeks.

The vehicle is secured verbally, based on a mutual trust (how good business should work). They do have an upfront document fee of £180, paid by cheque to secure the order of the vehicle from the dealership. Not sure if they bank this until the deal is done and dusted, but the +3 first main payment is not taken until the month following delivery.

Alan made the ordering and paperwork really easy, and 2 weeks later, the car turned turned up on my door step at the arranged time slot.

They should call themselves Genius Leasing !!
