Never Did My A/c Recharge Or A Safety Check
Took my car in to the Bedford branch of F1 Autocentre to have aircon recharged as it was not as cold as it use to be.
When I booked the car in online I also asked for a safety check.
Was booked in for 9am and got there early, first thing to come out of the guys mouth in the office was” don’t know how long it’s gonna take but it will be ready when it’s done.
So much for booking in for 9am and going to wait for it ,however I managed to get a lift from my partner and we decided to do some shopping and kill some time.
On are return the guy who was in the office said , your cars ready but couldn’t recharge the A/C as the compressor is naf, needs a new compressor as the gas is coming straight out of the back of it.
I know that is not true as it was making a difference but summer coming I wanted it recharged.
As for the safety check , he said it’s ok !! What does ok mean ? Brakes, tyres are good for 1 month , 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. That doesn’t mean a thing it’s ok to me, give me an idea.
Nothing on paper to tell me how much pads I’ve got left or used.
In my mind this wasn’t even carried out as I couldn’t believe what I was told about my A/C compressor being Naf.
Couldn’t believe his findings and booked car in at motorvation in Bedford.
After a recharge A/C blowing nice and ice cold and no leaks.
F1 Autocentre /bedford you fobbed me off with your lies and I’m not happy. I will tell friends and family as I did tell motivation the way I dealt with.
I’ll never go back to F1 Autocentre/Bedford again and rather deal with a more organised company ie Motorvaction who seemed more professional and friendly and not rude and carried out what I wanted in the first place.
Broke My Car
Peterborough Formula one. Bring my car for Mot in great condition, they changed brake pads and car passed mot. When i came to collect my car there was broken eco mode, service lights flashing on the screen and engine fault error showing on the car screen. When i asked them why my car is in that condition after mot they said it’s a coincidence and they can’t do nothing with that. Contacted their customer service- after 3 months they said it’s nothing they can do with that.
Be aware bringing your car there. Totally useless workers will not take any responsibility for their mistakes.

Redditch Branch - Excellent!
I used the Redditch Branch for a full service and MOT on my BMW 5 Series.
I dropped the car off and went home but - due to a medical issue - I was unable to collect the car as arranged that afternoon. the Centre Manager, contacted me with an update and when I explained the situation he was so kind and helpful. He arranged for the car to be dropped off. Although I live quite locally he went out of his way to help and I am so grateful. Thanks to the lads who dropped it round. It is this sort of service that makes me happy to bring my car here.
The car has been fully serviced and MOT completed at the price quoted. This is considerably cheaper than if I returned to a BMW Garage which would charge 4 times more.
I have used the Redditch Formula One Centre previously for tyres and service and I will certainly use again. The guys are so helpful and efficient. The price is brilliant. I could not ask for more.

Not Very Helpfull
Had two tyres replaced 22 jan,manager told me I need spacers as my wheels were after market,had my brake pads,discs,replaced 25th,Audi technician told me that spaces were fitted but one was missing manager at f1 said he did the tyres and they wasn’t spaces,one was misplaced somewhere,he is lying,no trying to sort it out for me,just trying to get me to order new ones,I hate leaving bad reviews but he needs to be replaced.
Displeasure To Do Business With. When They Replace
Displeasure to do business with. When they replaced my battery they broke my bonnet catch. After telling me to buy the part as they couldn't order it, their manager proceeded to go back on the agreement and want to charge me to replace the catch.
When I complained and refused to leave until it was resolved they called the police.
What sort of customer care is that. Don't

Reception Staff Doncaster
The young girls on reception and a man were having a discussion about someone and the language was disgusting. A lot of swearing including C. U. N. T. and all infront of a customer with a child. There used to be good customer service but not any more. This was very recently in the doncaster branch.

Couldn’t Open Bonnet
I went in to get MOT for my car today. The guy couldn’t open the bonnet of my car. He asked me to help, I opened it in front of him which worked fine. However he said that he couldn’t do the MOT because he said he needs to open it himself, Refused to do the MOT. Rubbish service. Even 1 star review is too much. Wasted my time.

I took my car in on Friday 15th September 2023 for MOT. I had to make a couple of phone calls before, booking etc. On both occasions he was extremely patient and understanding. On meeting I told him at the time I thought he had a really great manner over the phone & in person. Both myself & my son have used Formula1 for a few years & I have in the past recommended and on meeting him, I will continue to use & recommend.
