Worst Service Possible

This is the worst possible tyre place in the world; I can’t believe they are still in business. They have no idea what they are doing and lying through their teeth. Unhelpful staff and useless. They don’t apologies for wasting your time and just give the customer support centre’s number. This is even worse as when you call them you have to wait for about 20 min. No surprise, useless company!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just more time waited. Thanks

Kwik Fit Harlow - Stay Away

I took a vehicle into Kwik Fit Harlow after someone damaged an exhaust on a vehicle. The fitters had the vehicle in and checked it. They confirmed what part had to be replaced, and provided a written quotation. The third party agreed to pay for it, and gave us the money. I took the vehicle back to them to carry out the work after being in there for two hours like agreed I called them to find out what was happening, they replied with I was going to call you to say we have quoted you the wrong part to fix the exhaust, and it's going to be nearly double the original quote.

Then I'm told they can cancel the quotes they give us if they want. Customer service is a nightmare without a care in the world.

We went to formula 1 across the road, and they are different altogether, they answer the phone, they are welcoming, they don't leave car keys laying about on the counter and the main thing is they get it right!!

DONT USE KWIK FIT HARLOW THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!

Kwik Fit Surbiton Bulb Replacement Rip Off

I had one bulb out and went to have it replaced at Kwik Fit in Surbiton whilst I was at work.

When I came back, I was told they had replaced 2 bulbs even though I know only one was not working as I had checked the previous evening, they did not call me to say there was another bulb out and they showed me no evidence that they had actually replaced a second bulb.

I was then charged £31.98 for the work which is an extortionate amount.

When I returned home and advised my husband who also had a bulb out he decided to go to ESHER TYRE AND EXHAUST in Hampton Court Way and they charged only for the bulb and therefore his payment was £5.00, they will therefore be getting all of my future business.

Kwik Fit Surbiton has just under gone a total refurbishment and they are obviously trying to cover the cost by ripping off and over charging customers.

I have frequently used them for MOT and servicing and will never again give them any of my business.

Full Service And Brake Repairs

I have just had my nissan note serviced and break repairs done. I found the lads at the Surbiton branch to be very helpful and professional.

They did a great job to my car pointing out the faults and repairing to high standard.

Well done to all the personnel, a great job and I will be back again.

Thank you!

My (compaint) Letter To Kwikfit

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting something like this so I figure it'd be best for me to just post the complaint I just sent to KwikFit.

"To KwikFit

I have been using KwikFit since I began driving 7 years ago namely the one in Camberley. I bought 2 sets of tyres from there with tracking each time and I also got my exhaust replaced there without any problems. Then I moved to Surbiton 7 months ago.

I have been to the Surbiton KwikFit 3 times in the past six months. Once to replace old tyres and twice to replace tyres damaged by pot holes.

After driving my car away from the first visit I found that the steering wheel was now offset by about 10 degrees.

After that I got and puncture and returned to KwikFit to get a new one. I pointed out the steering issue that had arisen since my last visit and was assured that it would be fixed. Whilst driving away afterwards I found that the problem hadn't been altered at all.

I then had to replace a tyre due to a pothole and took it back to the same KwikFit and told them they had not done the tracking properly the last time and they again told me it would be rectified. I drove away (earlier tonight) and the steering wheel was no longer about 10 degrees out. IT IS NOW 45 DEGREES OFFSET AND THE CAR UN-DRIVEABLE. There NO WAY my car would pass an MOT test in this condition and I am furious that not only has this problem persisted due to the lack of professionalism by the Surbiton KwikFit staff but I have also had to pay (3 TIMES) for the tracking TO BE DONE EXTREMELY POORLY OR NOT AT ALL. I’VE BEEN PAYING TO HAVE MY CAR DAMAGED. I’m having to get the train to work tomorrow because of this which means I’ll be late which so I’ll be held accountable. I am absolutely DISGUSTED WITH THIS LEVEL OF SERVICE and I’ll make my feelings clear when I revisit the Surbiton KwikFit tomorrow. Regardless of whether or not Surbiton KwikFit fixes my car, after tomorrow I am never coming back.

You have lost a long standing customer but if your complaints department is anything like Surbiton KwikFit’s customer service then you probably don’t even read these messages and once more don’t even care.

Thank you for leaving me car-less on a Friday night. Thank you for making late to Work tomorrow and most of all, thanks for CHARGING ME TO DO DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING apart from damaging my car of course."

TO ANYONE READING THIS – Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere/anywhere else.

Kwik Fit In Surbiton-not Fit For Purpose

I should start by saying I don't usually write these kind of reviews, but this was such a truly awful experience that I felt compelled to. I arrived at Surbiton Kwik Fit 10.30 AM on Sunday 22nd December 2013 and one of my tyres needed changing-tyre change a basic job for the Kwik fit professionals... One would hope anyway. Not at this branch it would appear! I was told it would take an hour and a half (fair enough I thought initially-they're quite busy!) I went for a long walk along the river into Kingston, got a coffee and came back just after 12. When I went into the office I was told to wait a minute. Then a mechanic came in and said to him, 'what's happening with this one?' (My car). I then noticed it was still raised up and the tyre wasn't changed. I had replaced the tyre with my spare so the correct wheel was in the boot. I had already told them this-they said they had not been able to open the boot. I was then ushered back into the office  and then there was some kind of argument between him and the mechanic-apparently he had been in the toilet for a long time. He bashed away at his computer and said with a sigh-'tyre's out of stock, we're having a refurb'. No apology at all. I asked if there was anywhere else he could recommend. He said he could give me the number for Kingston Kwik Fit and the tyre number. Surely he could have offered to call ahead and check it was in stock after I had wasted 2 hours. I called the number he had given me on a piece of paper which sadly turned out to be the Bromley branch. I then went to Kingston branch and they fitted a new tyre and sorted in in half an hour-although I'm not sure first come first served promise was true as after handing over my key somebody else came in after me and was looked at before me. However, just glad to get tyre replaced-well done Kingston. Surbiton, not good-certainly not kwik fit. Slow not fit for purpose.

Took My Car There Not Too Long Ago For Mot And Ser

Took my car there not too long ago for MOT and Service as they called and made a good offer not that cheap MOT and Services just below £200 for a BMW 325D, after they carried out work I went and picked up car and as soon as I got on it I started I noticed a couple of problems that were not there prior to handing car to garage, I called garage and explained the problems and was told by staff and manager that it is a coinsidence and did not offer any help or explenation at all, 3 coincidences at same time when they carried out work, SMELLS FISHY, its a brand new car and one very well looked after. They take your car and do some work or inspect it but I promise you if you are reading this that they will damage other parts so that they could take more money of you due to their commission/incentive programmes to make more money. STAY AWAY otherwise you will REGRET IT BIG TIME, Surbiton store is very bad so AVOID at all costs a bunch of b4st4rds.

If you dont you will simply regret not taking my advice go to any other garage apart from this but I am sure you agree that all mechanics to an extent are conmen.

Thank you

Poor Service.

I called the Kwik Fit centre just down the road from me in Surbiton. Asked if they stocked tyres for a Vauxhall Vectra (presuming they would as such a common car) and they did. Said to just pop down and it could be straight away.

Arrived at the garage and spoke to a polite man whom I gave my key, said it would be around 1 hour so I thought I would take a wonder. I aksed before leaving how much he thought it would be and he said that he could not tell me now, but would call before doing any work to ensire that I was happy with the price. I was expecting to spend around £100 but was encouraged when I saw the sighn on their wall stating 'tyres from £28'.

Around one hour 45 later I get a call. As agreed they haven't started work yet but the cost will be £195, is it ok to proceed?

Short answer, No.

My issue is that having told me that the car would be ready in 1 hour, they call near double the time later to advise me that the cost will be massive as they do not have stock of a more reasonably priced tyre for what must be one of the most common cars on the road.

The tiny local garge a little further down the road had the exact tyre required, fitted it while I waited for 15 minutes and charged 90 quid.

Kwik fit are obviously not bothered about getting repeat customers.
