When they had finished my windscreen there was loads of mess left all over my car inside and out including bits of broken glass I had to clean it up so me and my family wouldn't get any cuts

Damaged My Car Now Supposedly Trying To Get The Parts
Had my windscreen replaced by 2 so called technicians from the Romford Branch. They damaged my car and although the damage has been confirmed now told they are trying to get the parts to fix the damage they caused. Until then I have a damaged car and no idea when it will be repaired. When I renew my insurance I shall definitely be checking to see what company they use for glass repair.

Shambolic, Unprofessional, Rouge
Absolutely the worst company I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure of having to deal with and still ongoing... Car left damaged to a fitted replacement windscreen. Difficult to contact, no action to getting this resolved, no progress, no follow communication, no returned calls as promised, I've tried Customer services, customer relations, customer complaints and still making no progress 4 weeks later. I've asked to be contacted my senior management and asked for a FULL refund as I am totally unsatisfied with the work carried out but they simply refuse to respond. Currently considering contacting the Financial Onbudsman once the time limit expires and taking out a private claim to recover the final costs if nothing happens. How can a company be runs so badly - comparable to the rogue traders in this world. Perhaps a response could give a positive end to this review ? I'm happy to update this post regularly which should provide a live tracker to any progress on a weekly basis...
Week 5 03/10/23
So despite numerous requests made for someone of management status to ring me, I eventually receive an email stating my car as been arranged by the local branch manager to go into Nissan and have I made the appointment (?).. well having chased the manager myself only last Thursday I know this hadn't happened and that the matter was now with his regional manager (who may or may not be real) who he promised to chase up and ring me back. I never received a call back (nor a email or a text etc) so I even contacted the dealership direct and they confirmed they have no record of any conversation with National Windscreens, no record of myself and no record of my car registration on file. Now the clever thing from National Windscreens is that when you reply to their email your then notified you have to wait upto another 72 hours for a reply!! Why not have the professionalism to deal with a customer directly (?)
So again In the afternoon I make further attempts to contact National windscreens via Web chat who apparently couldn't transfer me to Customer relations but in recorded text promised me "the local branch will call me today".. now I think if your still reading this you know where this is going.... yep still waiting a day later but without any expectation.
Waste Of Time
Appalling company, I've never known anything like it.
Appointment one - supposed to arrive at 9, I get a text at 10 saying the glass had been broken in transit. I called to rebook.
Appointment two - turned up without the equipment to complete the job. The fitter told me not to call to rebook and that they would call me. They didn't. I waited 10 days and then I called to rebook.
Appointment three - got a call to rebook for another date.
Appointment four - booked for a Friday at 9. They called at 11 to confirm booking for the next Wednesday. Told them it was supposed to be that day and they got confused. Rebooked again.
Appointment four - supposed to be on Wednesday but the chances of them turning up seem slim.
Anyone looking to get their windowscreen replaced should 100% avoid these clowns. They have no idea when it comes to administration. The staff on the phone are very unprofessional, they clearly have no idea what they are talking about and don't communicate with each other. They will happily put the phone down on you for no reason other than them not having a clue what they are on about. The fitter turned up in a dirty rental van with a windscreen in worse condition than the one I need replacing. That should of been a sign for me to cancel.
All this company has done is cause stress and ensure that I'm still driving around with a cracked window a month after my original appointment.
Absolute shambles of a company and judging by the reviews, this is just how they operate. How they are still in business confuses me.

The initial appointment was booked on the 21/04/2023. On the day of the repair, no one had the common sense to at least call, message or email me about any updates until the next day where they left a msg to say that it had been re-booked for the 10/05/2023. On the second day appointment date, a msg came through later afternoon after waiting all day to say that it has been cancelled. I phoned the local branch -Oxford, no one picked up a phone which I waited for 45mins. I tried a second call at different times and I waited for 30mins as well but no one picked up. I called my insurance company and reported all this which they said they will find out for me and call me back. A day after an email came through that it has now been booked for the 25/05/2023. They didn't even bother to call because I have booked for a holiday on this date. This way I can at least choose another date. I went online to try and change this date but it says this date has been cancelled as well. I am so mad ???? How am I to wait all this time since I use the car to commute to work I can't afford to keep waiting for this long. This is by far the worst company I have ever come across. I really do hope that I can get my windscreen changed asap. Do i really have to wait for 2 months to get this done
Hi Windscreen Fitted Top Job Nice Man
Hi windscreen fitted from Milton Keynes top job lovely man polite professional
Booked An Afternoon Slot On Their System, They Turned Up 9am
You would assume as their booking system allows for timeslots that if an afternoon slot is booked they will turn up within that timescale. Well they turned up at 9am, I was at work, and they then decided to leave messages on my phone asking me where I was! Well if they looked on their booking system, afternoon slot would have been mentioned! I was forced to use them for insurance purposes, otherwise I would avoid. Online chat takes about 20-30 mins just to connect to a handler and I didn't even bother to call them, bet that would be much worse. Oh you can't contact the repair direct either, they give you a withheld number and a phone number for the local office. Totally inefficient and dumb, so yeah typical uk service.
Never Answer Phone Calls E Mail - Uninterested In Business
unfortunately we have to try and deal with this shambles of a company - they are totally uninterested in taking on any work at all - they dont answer phones - emails - complaints to "customer services" they are the absolute worse

Shambolic, Utter Confusion
A complete shambles, farcical
Called National Windscreens on the 10th May to book the car in for a replacement windscreen, next available "slot" was given as the 15th June. It was at this point that the most frustrating 2 hours and 17 minutes of phone calls began...and that was the calls I made and doesn't include those received. To spare anyone reading this too much detail it was a constant to and fro of utter confusion, frustration, misleading and unjointed information that I've ever been subjected to, almost comical at times. The car was initially booked into the Norwich depot, then a phone call and a change to the Thetford depot with a different date, then another call with a change to the Peterborough depot, then Norwich again, then Diss, Norwich, Thetford...missed calls, voicemails, returned calls, calls made and many confusing text messages received. Finally, and after a few days of this comedy, I was instructed to take the car to the Diss depot, so on the appointed day I arrived early to be told by the technicians that they have no details of my booking.
Fortunately they fully understood my plight, it's a common occurrence apparently, and as luck would have it the correct windscreen was in stock. At this point the service couldn't have been better, thanks guys!
As for the admin staff, get a grip, get some much needed training and an understanding of what it takes to offer a service with a modicum of customer satisfaction. How this company remains in business is a mystery to me. The 2 stars are a reflection of the work carried out by the installing technicians, if I'd been dealing with these guys from the start it'd be a full 5 stars.
Tesco, with which the insurance is arranged through, need to revisit this contract and consider their customers when it comes to the service that is being paid for.

Absolutely Shocking
ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING
My van was broken into and i had to deal with National Windscreens because of insurance. Their workmanship is shocking! They scratched my vehicle, left dents where they took the broken windscreen out and and was filthy after the left. I drafted a complaint email and received a call to discuss my complaint - "To apologise & close this complaint we would like to give you £36.50 in compensation"
I will not only never deal with National Windscreens again I'm going to be leaving the insurance company at the end of my term!
AVOID!!!!
