Poor Repairs And Very Dangerous Could Have Died In Car!
Hello,
You repaired my car in January 2019, where the locks of the car had to be replaced through an insurance claim through QuoteMeHappy car insurance as the keys too had been missing. The repair job was completely unsafe and could have had me locked in a car if had been in a car accident. Later that year the drivers side door kept on getting stuck in the locked position. Due to this I would have to crawl from the drivers side through to the passengers side to exit the vehicle. This was extremely unsafe and later your garage took the car back in for a repair to rectify the issue. After this, the same issue happened again and you took it in again. You then returned the car to me with my passengers side wing mirror damaged and stuck on! I had to complain yet again. The person I spoke to done an investigation and spoke to the team that cleans the car. He found out that one of your employees had damaged the mirror and replaced it with an incorrect one. Therefore, yet again you took the car in for another repair due to your negligence. The person who was handling my complaint was helpful and offered a full tank of diesel for when the car is delivered as a gesture of good will.
Now recently the car door began to have the same issue again which was caused by your botched repair job and the side mirror you replace was not even a heated mirror meaning the the side mirror does not even heat up. The door is now fully locked and will not unlock. This is all an occurrence from your absolutely rubbish and unsafe repair job.

Disaster!!!! From Start To Finish
My car got picked up, and I was told it would be going in to a secure car park. Nope !!! It ended up in the middle of a rough housing estate in the middle of London!!! ( I have the photos to prove)
My car was then returned back to you TWICE and both times returned back to me in a un satisfactory state , trims missing, panels not aligned properly, a step in the paint were it had not been blended properly, car also can back with the same dent under the car even though they said it had been repaired!!!!
I was then told by a member or your staff that you could do no more for me and you will be getting a independent vehicle inspection done, which came back in my favor, you then wanted my car back for a third time, but by this time I had no confidence left in your ability at all, I was constantly lied to by the same member of staff
My car then went in to a REAL garage to get repaired properly like it should have done in the first place
I do not have one good thing to say about you !!
No Stress
From beginning to end it was a stress free experience. Kept informed at all stages. People I spoke with were very courteous and informative. Car was delivered back in immaculate condition and internally much cleaner than when they took it away. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Room For Improvement
Car had to be returned after repair as still could see a dent. No problems accepting it back. 2nd repair finally lovely job.
Had to wait on 2 occasions for a couple of hours after the allocated time frame for delivery of courtesy vehicle & my car pick up. 2nd courtesy car had engine diagnostics light come up & needed oil!!!!!!!!!
Staff at Solus Basingstoke were very helpful on the phone & kep’t me constantly updated.
Overall couldn’t say it was hassle free & would look elsewhere for a better experience!!!!!

Great Insurance Job
Solus was the appointed repairer of my insurance company, so I did not have to do much.
Communication throughout was excellent.
A minor detail was that it took a few days longer than initially stated to get the car into the workshop, but as the car was driveable this was not an issue. A courtesy car was provided, delivered to me when they collected my car, so very convenient and efficient service.
The bodywork repair looks good so I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Very Professional Service From Start To Finish
Nice to deal with a company that works professionally. I was contacted early to discuss arrangements, and my car was collected by a friendly and courteous recovery lorry driver. Kept informed of progress, and work finished ahead of original deadline. My car was returned, clean and with repairs to a high standard! Very pleased
