Just Another Cash Cow For The Site Owners!

One of the many sites run by the same people (same screen design, same pricing structure, same rules) it clearly exists purely to part men from their money.

Within seconds of setting up an account I received my first 'wink' so I checked out 'her' profile only to find it didn't exist.

I've no doubt that, we're I to stump up some wedge, I'd find all the 'interest' in me (winks and messages I can't yet read) will evaporate.

Treat it like pure entertainment (like astrology or a tarot reading) and you'll be fine. But expect to find a 'mate' and you'll be sorely disappointed!

Not Great

Unconvinced that the 5 star reviews are genuine ... Signing on for the free option, I received numerous 'private messages'. One looked particularly interesting, so I signed up in order to read it and spent about an hour composing a reply. The message bounced as being outside the lady's filters. I think the message was genuine, but broadcast scattergun and rather misleadingly tagged as 'private'. It would not kill the programmer to ensure that recipients would be of interest to her, buy cross-checking against her filters.

Other supposed 'messages' came from people whose profile was inactive. They're just taking the mickey to get you to subscribe (although this is hardly the only site committing this sin).

Add in far too many ladies who think crotch shots sexy - some simple photo decorum rules would not go amiss; we know what it looks like, madam! - and you get a very disappointing experience.

It Works....

I love this site. It has a much classier clientele than most dating sites and some genuinely nice women looking for a little extramarital fun. The best thing is that most people here are in the same situation. Unlike singles dating sites where most women are looking for long term commitment and marriage, on undercoverlovers.com because the women are already married and plan to stay that way, they are looking for some discreet light relief. Ideal for me and my situation. I'm seeing a gorgeous lady I met on the site, who lives in a town 30 miles from my home a perfect distance to retain my anonymity. We meet up once or twice a month. I can't imagine how I survuved without her. I never intended to break my marriage vows, but have learned this was a fantasy. The reality after 25 years of marriage is that whilst my wife and I remain close in a brother/sister type way, all sexual love has long gone. My wife is happy with this state of affairs, I was not. Finding undercoverlovers.com was my salvation. Try it - it might be yours too.

Run By Women.....

This site claims to be run by women for women - and the men who want to meet them. I was sceptical about this but I've been proven wrong. There seems to be a far greater percentage of women to men on Undercover Lovers than on other dating websites I've used. Whereas other sites charge men whilst offering free membership to women (a sure sign that they're underubscribed with ladies), Undercover Lovers charge both genders equally. This makes for a fairer playing field and what a playing field. I was spoilt for choice which is fortunate since I'm rather fussy when it comes to who I fancy. After a month or so of flirting with a few, I met a lady who did not want to waste time with a protracted online conversation. We met for dinner in an anonymous hotel and since I thought that would be it for the first date I didn't book a room. This proved to be an oversight! Luckily the hotel had vacancies and we now meet there twice a month. I've maintained my Undercover Lovers membership though because you never know when a better option might come along!

I Likey....

After more than 2 years of celibacy in my marriage (hubbie induced!) I decided to do something about it. Initially I joined a bunch of singles sites including eHarmony. Match.com and OK Cupid. On all of them I experienced varying degrees of weirdness, creepiness or just fellas looking for something different to me. Then I heard about dating websites for married people and signed up for a few. The only one I've stuck with is UndercoverLovers.com.The men are mostly gentlemanly and you don't get drowned in responses like on the other sites suggesting a fairly even gender balance. I just chatted for ages and the guys I was chatting to seemed happy to carry on the conversation with no expectation of it going anywhere. Conversely on Illicit Encounters the men are really impatient to move things forward, probably because they're paying so much money and want to avoid paying for another month if they can possibly help it. Now that I've moved on to meeting select guys in person, they have been universally pleasant even if they haven't all floated my boat. Those rejected have accepted the situation with equanimity. I'd recommend the site to any lady seeking to fill the gaps in an unhappy homelife.

Worked For Me

I've used all of the leading dating websites for married people and this is my comparative experience:

Ashley Madison - Full of escorts, no real women in the UK, expensive to communicate since they have a credits system and you waste most of your credits reading fake messages from fake female profiles.

Illicit Encounters - Some real women but the site is so exorbitantly expensive that it would be cheaper to go out and pay for it! A rip off!

Marital Affair - A scam run by global Personals who were recently exposed on UK TV for their dodgy marketing tactics - fake profiles, fake messages and full of scammers. Avoid!

Undercover Lovers - Seemed the most genuine of the bunch. Yes you have to sift through the ladies to find those who are sincere about meeting up and not wasting your time, but did produce the desired result.

Gleeden - I joined, paid and nothing happened. Seem to be very few people from the UK on the site.

Loving Links - Second best of the bunch. Some genuine ladies but all seem to be hanging out for a sugar daddy.

Glad I Found It...

I've been a member of several affairs dating sites now and was going to give up before I found Undercover Lovers. After an expensive (£150 per month!) waste of time on Illicit Encounters (no women!) and an equally frutiless experience with Ashley Madison (some women but all escorts!) I read about Undercover Lovers in the Daily Mail and that it was actually run by two women (so surely there would be at least two real women on the site!) Actually there are a whole lot more. The site's female friendliness seems to attract ladies in a way the competition are unable to. I've been spoilt for choice in my area (Manchester) and am on my second affair. Not sure what the negative reviews below are about (probably posted by the jealous competition!).

Much Changed Over The Past Year

I joined the site over a year ago and though reasonably entertained I didn't take it too seriously. My partner indulged herself at the same time and what our experiences were was revealing. She had a massive amount of attention in a very short period of time so good you might think. Well no, apart from a handful of individuals who in their emails appeared balanced and sane the remainder were in her words 'annoying, creepy stalkers who just wanted to tell you they had abused themselves over your picture'. For me initially things looked good then I was flooded with emails from girls under 25 (not the profile I was looking for) who had either incomplete profiles or even details that didn't match the picture. A good few had watermarks from commercial sites. The few emails or messages I replied to inevitably wanted to subscribe to external websites to chat. Hmm forget it.Complained to the site administrators but little assistance or signs of clean up. There were other odd things going on but in short don't bother. The site either has a massive trespass problem or the owners are seeding the profiles.

Complete Scam

I signed up with this site to see what the fuss was about but did nothing more than enter male and my age. Within hours I was bombarded with emails telling me numerous women had reviewed my profile, sent me emails and wanted to chat. It was so obvious the supposed emails were bogus and doubtless sent by the website who then constantly hassle you to upgrade. If anyone is interested then a much better site is fabswingers.com which is free!

Full On Promise. Short On Delivery. Seriously Flawed

This site is seriously let down by its hardware and software. Be wary of paying by any card. You could find yourself charged multiple times for one subscription.

As to activity. As one lady says on the site many of the men are perverted so that sets the tone! The review stating high membership and mature professional ladies is blatantly written by the company and far from true.

Expect to be bombarded with e-mails every day of which 90% plus will be spam or fake e-mails.

There are an incredible number of scam women descriptions which evade the company's scan routines with consumate ease because the scan routine is so poor and simple.

Overall a total waste of time and money unless you are looking for tintillating chat which is about all this site can deliver.
