Brilliant

Contacted Evander as door lock broken, unable to secure house.

Prompt on answering call, good communication regarding time of arrival, Agent rang to say he was in on his way and also received texts up till two minutes away.

Problem was explained and he advised us on what he would be doing and what parts we needed. Very respectful, friendly and polite person, a credit to the company.

I would recommend and use the company.

Thank you

Rubbish

I would like to share a negative experience so all of you can avoid Evander Glaz!!! This company came to repair my cracked window ( trough home insurance) 1st they took wrong measurements of the window so window didn't fit into the frame - this time no damage to the hinges , 2nd return " everything" was going fine but just before the engineer left he said the hinges got damaged will return in few days to fix the damage. As the engineer didn't show up I called customer service and they refuse to come back as it was " consequence damage " . I made a complaint against the engineer I provided pictures but still refuse to come and fix the damage caused by their engineer as his report didn't state any damage . Also the insurance company doesn't take the responsibility for the contractors damage so happy days ...

By now I accepted the fact I've been left with an inch gap just before winter and I'll have to invest money to fix it but at least I thought I would share wherever is possible .

Rubbish

We were burgled

Window which has been fitted is too short, so does not match other 2 windows on that wall.

Because its too short, they have filled the space with a mastic that smells so bad , I cannot sleep in my bedroom.

Leaded light is completely a different size, and the lead is stained, and cannot open and shut it.

Wish I'd known the bad reviews before I used them.

Awful: Eight Months To Replace A Door Following Break In

Our front door was kicked in. It took Evander eight months to replace it.

At every stage there were excuses and delays. It took three months to get a quote. They didn't know what door to install, sent us the wrong brochures and had to measure the door twice.

Then, having finally received a quote and paid half the amount, our installation date was postponed three times with each delay adding a further month.

What's more, even after the three postponements, it still took two separate installation dates for the job to be completed since some materials were missing on the first occasion.

We are now being chased for a payment despite having never received an invoice.

Please avoid this company at all costs.

Appalling . A Company Which Likes To Laugh…at Its Customers

Forced to use Evander for replacement patio doors following a break-in. Nearly four months on and after a series of appalling, unprofessional customer service fails from this company, finally had new doors fitted last week. Believing this to be the final stage in a long and painful process, we are now devastated to discover that not only are the doors not actually finished (according to fitter they still need to be painted) but they leak. ‘Rapid response team’ promised by customer service has not materialised and we have been left yet again hanging by Evander. A couple of quotes from Evander’s website: ‘ We love our customers and go the extra mile’, ‘ We like to laugh’. This company is, indeed a joke. Shame on you

New Lock

After opening my door it will take 3 to 4 weeks to put in a UK standard new lock - useless

Do Not Use This Company

Our front door was broken down in mid-August. Evander are, unfortunately for us, our home insurance's contractor. We ordered a new door and were told it would take two months to supply and fit a replacement and we had to pay in full (£700+) for them to proceed. Three months later, after four cancelled appointments, still no door! We are now told it'll be another month (at least). In the meantime, we're having to access our mid-terrace home through a back alley, great fun in the dark! One of the worst companies I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with, avoid them.

Never Use This Company - Full Of False Commitment

I have use this company as my insurance recommended. However, this is the worst company I ever dealt with.

[1] From sales, customer services they kept providing false commitment / delivery dates (two times missed now)

[2] Unable to reach to there suppliers for weeks - so really doubt how they do the business if they don't have way to get respond from supplier

[3] No escalation route to act on the issue

If any of you need more details I'm happy to provide more evidence on all communication.

Replacement Trifold Door

Do not let these people in your house, not even the so called surveyors. I explained that the new doors were twisted when fitted and would not last three years, due to south facing aspect. Which the surveyor ignored on inspection, a few years on the door won’t open.
