A Nightmare To Get Deposit Back

I ordered a new front door, felt pressured into paying the £150 deposit there and then, paid by credit card as knew this would give me extra security.

Next day changed my mind and cancelled within my consumer rights in wirting. one letter recorded and another just proof of postage.

They acknowledged receipt and called to convince me to change my mind and said refund would be done instantly. Needless to say that months later I am still waiting for my deposit refund, despite me making numerous phones calls all of which they promissed to refund me and email confirmation. I can imagine I will be waiting some months more for my credit card company resolve.

Bad Start

On no way does this review regard any work been done by the company because they haven't started yet. However I had a quite for two doors which was decent so I said yes signed the contract and then a week later the suveyor came measured up and said they company would contact for a date to put the doors in, then last night which is two weeks later they phoned me and said the salesman had under quoted the job and it's gone up £150 which I can now pay if I give them my visa 4 fidget number. I was suspicious so said give me your number and I will ring you back. My local phone company then found out it was from lifestyle so I rang this morning at 9.45. A man whom I spoke to said a manager will ring me back that was over 4 hours ago. Not good but I suppose it's a long day. I will update with the outcome.

Review Still In Progress, Like Our Windows.

Its been 3 weeks since the installation team left, leaving one window incomplete and one in an unsatisfactory condition. Ohh plus the left over bits on our patio. Have spoken to customer services, ' some one will get back to you. have emailed. 11-4-2018 no response . have re-email 13-4-2018 still awaiting reply. (as of 16-4-2018)

So when I finally get completion , I will be able to complete the review, don't think it will be good. Dudley home owner.
