My husband got a cold call from these chancers and unfortunately he let them make an appointment to come to the house. Salesman was charming but over-stayed his welcome after 2 hrs of talking. We then waited for them to fit the windows, seemed ok but then they sent a very tall intimidating guy out to demand that we pay more as the price has gone up or the manager would "get his windows back" my husband is a big Irish man and was not intimidated, he told him to get out now. I then had a call next day from the manager apologising and said there had been a mix-up. I had to call him every day for the next 3 wks asking when our cashback cheque would be here, everytime it was one excuse or another, nobody here can sign it because he's on holiday blah blah.

The kitchen window seal broke within 1 yr and I'm not calling them out as they charge you £90 call-out fee and if they decide it's

not their fault you don't get a refund. The front door is falling apart and has holes in the front. Worst companv I have ever had the misfortune to encounter, I wouldn't recommend this shower of idiots to my worst enemy.

If you try to tell people how bad they are they block your review by saying they have no record of you, basically accusing me of lying, well my question is Why would I lie? I have nothing to gain, I just don't want anyone else to fall for their garbage products. No doubt they'll get review centre to remove this review too like they did on trust pilot.

I got a cold call from weatherseal who implied that they were checking the warranty on my windows. They would come round check the seals and leave. They were not trying to sell anything. The guy arrived did not give mW any ID. He checked the windows waffle walks waffle. 5 mins it took. Told me they were not good they were pikington glass and said they needed servicing and it would cost a lot. Liar. Them he came downstairs sat down I remained standing should have given him a clue. He promptly opened his case and said it will cost £1500 to sort them out. No measuring no checking of the windows. Didn't include the porch. He said I could pay there and then and was shocked when I said I would think about it. I will ring you. No card or brochure left. To add insult to injury he promptly lectured me on who I was related to. Google it and you will see I am right. But the surname is spelt differently. I gave him the name of my cousin an England football player. His reply no you are wrong. I will not have them to check my windows a local builder is doing it. I have also blocked them on the phone.

Over an hour with a sales man. Kept asking us to rate our old windows. Waffle, waffle waffle. When the hour we'd been told it would take was up, and we still hadn't received a quote for new windows I asked how much longer it would be. More waffle. Asked him to leave. He phoned his boss, who had more waffle. Gave the phone back to the sales man and asked him to leave again. The boss, on speaker phone, thanked me for wasting their time. I only wanted a quote! Never got a price, but are obviously bullies who wear down and scare the vulnerable. Disgusting.

Worst company ever. Bought windows in 2016 now back door not working called and they have now changed hands and warrenty is not worth the paper it's written on as they don't register your repairs with the insurance company. My advice AVOID this bunch. Still trading as weatherseal but changed hands so guarantee don't exist.

Weatherseal approach to selling is shocking.

Offer you a stupid price, half it then half it again. They don’t seem to grasp the concept of getting quotes.

Send a so called manager round with a one day only “amazing deal” then insulted my wife when we wouldn’t sign.

I asked the so called manager to leave twice before I ended up having to throw him out.

If you are thinking about using them do your homework first google Weatherseal home improvements then make up your own mind.

Do not ever use this company. They will shaft you , without a doubt . Trust me it has happened to me . You have been warned

My only experience with this company was getting a price for two windows and a patio door . That is where it ended . It started with a phone call telling me that they would send out a rep give me a price that would be reduced by 40% or I could be a show home and get the windows either for free or a massive discount . This started alarm bells ringing . The rep came in my house for two hours doing everything he could for me to buy these windows . I actually felt sorry for him , his boss kept texting him or phoning him and the way he spoke to the young man was appalling , I actually told him he should look for another job it was that bad . The price was extortionate . Then the boss wanted to speak to me asking me how much I would pay . Then the reps boss offered it half price , but it was still an extortionate price . Everything I was told originally when the appointment was made was completely different , when I said that to the manger it was an argument that he was looking for . This company is a joke and I wouldn’t get them to clean my windows far less buy them from them . God help anyone that works for them if what I heard is anything to go on .

Got front & back doors from this company, not fitted well hard to close when i called for repairs was told guarantee was useless because company had gone into administration,no real surprise there,the gear box had broke couldn't unlock back door had to get a locksmith to repair it he replaced it & couldn't believe the difference. Stay clear of weatherseal

I live in a property built in the 1930's that has cavity walls. The Windows & front door were not made to measure but just bog standard sizes which were too small for the apertures. Not one of the cavities were sealed in anyway and the door surround does not reach the floor - about a half inch gap. My flat has been constantly cold since the day Weatherseal fitted the Windows & Door. I only discovered this had happened because of the damp and musty smell at the front door and I had to lift the laminate due to the damage. This was when I saw that the plate had been fitted over my laminate. I developed a leak under the window in the bedroom and when I had this repair carried out this was when I discovered that the cavities had not been sealed and the window frames did not fit the apertures. One by one I am replacing these ill fitting Windows and doors but it has been a costly and cold experience. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU STEAR WELL CLEAR OF WEATHERSEAL.

Windows fitted promptly but took 10 months to get work completed. After sales support was an absolute joke they ignored 2 letters sent by recorded delivery!

Only interested in getting money even threatened with legal action to get small balance before work was completed.certainky would not recommend such an unprofessional lot.
