Stay There In 6/22/21 This Was The Best Vacation Ever Had

would recommend this place to anyone that is visiting Jamaica, I had a wonderful time there and I am planning to go back real soon because of the wonderful time that I had. The place was very clean and cozy you feel like home away from home the owner went out of his way to make sure that I had a wonderful time there. I love every thing about the property there in noting that I would change about the property so i would recommend anyone to go stay at the property.

0/10 An Awful Experience Cracked Windows, No Dust Sheets, No

1/ Used the old sacam:

The slick salesman says that it costs 15ks and if you still say no they suddenly need portfolio homes for their showrooms at half the cost. This was vetoed years ago. We never saw a Zenith board or any pictures taken

2/expert trained Zenith fitters with smart Zenith vans fit the windows expertly after much training on a dry day using local weather. In reality they subcontract to Jobworthdoing who are very bad and turn up in battered vans with no Zenith randing, Shocking.

3/ No dust sheets of any kind used our home looked like a war had happened.

4/ They cannot fit windows at all. They cracked both my big front ones upon fitting and asked to use my guarantee to claim for new ones! They cracked one 3 times on 3 visits.

5/ They stuck all the windows to the outside of my home with Siliocne as the windows did not fit; ruining the brickwork.

6/ They ignore calls/texts/emails

7/ They fitted a window with trickle vent outside but not inside!

8/ They ruined new paintwork

9/ They stomped all sorts into my new carpets

10/ They came in the snow!! IT was freezing!

AVOID at all costs.

Big Disappointment

Big disappointment. It's a bunch of very good sellers.. Terrible value for money and profoundly unprofessional. They'd promise to do a number of things to make your house better and they will eventually stick to the minimum. They wouldn't even bother replying to the follow up complaints. The just disappear. Stay away from them.

They Didn't Turn Up

Having contacted Weathershield for front and rear house windows .l was informed that their sister company (their words not mine) Zenith windows would be round to quote. First appointment didn't turn up however they did call 5 mins after the appointment time. Rearranged the appointment but this time simply didn't turn up.

Took Advantage Of Vulnerable Elderly Man, Twice!

This company cold called my elderly father and persuaded him to buy a plastic front door even though I had called them and told them they mustn't talk to him without another member of the family present. The front door was totally inappropriate for the type of house and an exhorbitant cost as my father wasn't competent to discuss price.

They fitted the door in February which he was never happy with but also continued to call him and persuaded him to buy a new garage door (which he didn't need) in August at a cost of £4K. The following day a deposit of £1245 was taken from his bank account but he died before it could be fitted.

I called both their call centre and also the man who had visited my father. They both said that the garage door wasn't fitted because they had identified him as vulnerable and yet some 12 weeks later have still not refunded the money or acknowledged a letter of complaint.

Anyone visiting my father could have seen that he was vulnerable and not able to make conscious decisions. His garage wasn't even accessible as it was so full of accumulated junk.

Zenith are the very worst type of old fashioned double glazing sales companies. You must avoid them at all cost

Terrible Company Stay Away

I had a rep visit me for 4 hours. He said they would remove my shutters and install Double glazing. Then put the shutters up so I agreed to £349 admin fee. However the following day I rang the Watford office. The manager said they would not do this service as they had trouble in the past. They not fit back.

I also rang the shutter people who said pvc windows would mean I was unable to re use the shutters as they wouldn’t fit back.

I cancelled the contract within 48 hours writing to head office. I received a reply saying they wouldn’t give the money back. Also they wouldn’t do the double glazing.

I am very upset about this as I was spoken to by the rep who came to sell me the double glazing. He should have told me the company didn’t take shutters down or put them back up. Then I wouldn’t have gone ahead. I am taking this further.

My Worst Nightmare

I had double glazing fitted three years ago.I have been inundated with phone calls regularly since then asking me to have more work done. I was told that my name would be removed from the list, but nothing changes. I have now been informed that the Company has ceased trading-wonderful when you have 7 years of a warranty left, which isn't worth the paper it is written on now! The only good thing about this I won't be harassed by phone calls ever again by this Company.

If you have any faults, try contacting the finance company (if you took their finance out) as they are responsible for the product if the the original company takes a dive. Only for the duration of the original warranty though. A bit like using a credit card.

Brianh4748

They have started again under Zenith Homes. They are not accepting responsibility for previous warranties but their database is still active so you will get calls still.

Incompetent, Uncommunicative And Terrible Customer Service

The first thing to state at the outset is that this company is not a member of the Double Glazing and Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme and they will not help you when you have trouble with this company. They are affiliated with FENSA but FENSA will not cover any conservatory work. So customers only recourse is to Trading Standards or TV consumer programmes or newspaper consumer help such as Daily Express Crusaders. I would also like to see the many, many customers who are suffering at the hands of this company advertise Zenith’s incompetence on Social Media as much as they can. The company tends to target elderly, vulnerable people and so expect that they won’t fight back too much when they get terrible service.

I have had four previous installations with this company for a garage door, double glazing, fascias and soffits and a porch which all went well. However, I didn’t realise that the company is now under new ownership and frankly their customer service is virtually non-existent and their infra-structure cannot cope with the necessary coordination of different tradesmen that an installation of a conservatory requires.

We were told that the installation of our conservatory would take 2 – 3 weeks. So far we are into our 8th week with no end in sight.

There is no overall project manager who communicates with the customer and the various trades required.

What you have is a team of people in the installation centre who have never been on site and have really no idea of what is required and when.

So instead of having a list of trades in order that they need to be on site they simply book in one trade at a time and when that is reported back to them as completed they book in the next trade – which typically is a few weeks later.

So from the point of view of the customer you get a team arrive and work for a few days and then you have to phone and phone and then you get an appointment for another team to arrive a few weeks later and so it goes on.

In our case when the roof team came to do the glazing they were a piece missing and it took 3 weeks before this missing piece could be ordered and a team found to fit it. Three weeks of water pouring in.

Then the plastering team were booked in three weeks after that and when the day arrived, they didn’t. I waited until the afternoon to be told that the wrong team of plasterers had been booked in as they hadn’t realised the extent of the plastering and now it would be another two weeks before the correct team could come.

But if I hadn’t phoned them --- they would have quite happily let me wait all day for them without letting me know that they were not coming!!

I have sent numerous emails to their customer service department but all they do is send generic emails back saying someone will call you from installation department. Which they don’t – but even if they did --- it wouldn’t help because I am actually trying to inform them that their installation department do not know what they are doing.

When the building team laid the temporary concrete floor they said that a team would be coming to lay floor levelling compound. I have been unable to find out when this is taking place and so for the past 4 weeks we have spent an hour every morning dusting the whole house and hoovering through the entire house because of the dust from the temporary floor.

Zenith - it pays to take notice of your customers - if you ignore us we can only assume that this is commonplace. If this is an unusual occurrence then your reaction should be one of concern and an immediate resolution should be forthcoming.

Each day that passes leaves me with the feeling that your infrastructure cannot cope

Stay Clear At All Costs

This company is immoral to say the least. A 5 hour sales pitch and strong arm tactics and statements about what they were doing to reduce an incredibly high first quote which could not be substantiated or proved. Numerous calls to managers etc. back at the office - all obviously staged and rehearsed. Anyone rating this company has probably paid 2-3 times over the odds. I feel for people who live honest lives and take people at face value and believe what is being said to them - I'm really not sure how people who work for this company rest easy at night. Don't forget they went into administration in 2017 - they haven't learnt their lesson and sell their double glazing using talk which after 5 hours puts you in a state where you'll literally sign anything to get them off your property. Not a nice company to deal with in our experience.

The answer to "Your hint about what would you liked to have know before the purchase" is read the reviews FIRST - thankfully, I didn't go ahead with the purchase and managed to make use of the legally required 7 day cooling off period but still had to involve my bank to ensure the refund of the £300+ admin fee.

All in all a stressful and very unpleasant experience. PLEASE AVOID THEM

Q&A

bigted95

Do they do window repairs to Stay Bright windows?

Arisnotle

I had a problem closing a window catch. They came out under warranty. I had assumed they'd just file the fitting slightly. Not a bit of it; they completely removed the opening sash, realigned the fittings on the fixed frame and opening sash, then refitted the opening sash.

I had slightly damaged the handle on my patio door some time before the above problem. I asked them to take a look whilst they were there. They made a repair, then said they'd class it as part of the warranty job.

The salesman when I first enquired about their product was a nightmare.

The 'Job Worth Doing' installation team were professional and showed considerable expertise. The warranty process worked as it should.

It seems that I am Zenith's only satisfied customer in the country. If were starting from scratch at this property, I would still use them.

Are all Zenith windows triple glazed?

Beachhut1960

No not all, they can come double glazed as well, hope this helps you.

Rhygon

I had a zenith salesman round talking about portfolio etc. In the end I signed something to say I'd declined the offer, is that bad?

Beachhut1960

Personally I wouldn't sign anything, best to get in touch with the company and tell them you don't want anything, I had the same thing with my mum and you shouldn't have to sign anything if you aren't buying anything from them.
