I bought some lighting from energysavingonline and when it arrived one of the lights was damaged. I emailed the company and they replied within minutes asking for photos of the damage. When I sent the photos, again I got an immediate reply saying they would send me a replacement straight away. Not only that, because I was going away and didn't want the parcel arriving in my absence, they agreed to delay sending it until a specific date, which they duly did.

The price of the lighting was a very good deal in the first place so to find such a high level of service as well was a complete surprise and a great bonus.

Ordered some 100W and 50W floodlights for work and 2 of them failed in just under a year (1 x 100W & 1 x 50W). It obviously cost me to send them back and there was no refund of that postage but their warrantee service was possibly the best I have ever experienced.

They say they tested the lights and the 100W one was faulty and the 50W one was okay. Their offer was to replace the faulty one with a new and better light and send back the good light, which they did and overnight.

The new light is so much more superior to the old light, we shall be buying more of them, but the supposedly not faulty one was still faulty. I videoed testing both lights and sent the video to them.

Then the biggest surprise of all!! They sent back a video of the box I sent them unopened. It then being opened and each light immediately being unwrapped and tested. Amazingly my faulty light worked.

However, they have still sent a replacement for that light and once again it will be of superior quality.

This is exactly how customer service should work and we will certainly be buying from them again and I would recommend the company to anyone

Paid for next day delivery, parcel arrive three day later, they refused to refund the charge.

How can these people expect to un a successful company if they rip off customers like this?

I ordered an 80w led floodlight to replace my old 400w halogen in an effort to reduce running costs while maintaining the same light output. The cost was approximately £80

Upon unboxing I was a little shocked by the poor fit and finish of the light. The aluminium reflector had a buckle in it and the cutout for the led unit looked like it had been done by a 5-year old with blunt scissors.

I was half tempted to send it straight back but after checking the Energy saving online returns policy, I found that the stated that their original postage would be deducted. So I decided to keep the floodlight rather than paying two lots of postage to return it.

Once installed the lamp appears fairly bright but it is definitely not comparable with my old 400w in actual light output.

Money saved on my electric bill but at considerable cost for a poor quality product.

Ordered a Kosnic globe low energy bulb. I have a 14 bedroom guesthouse so know something about bulbs! Placed it in a landing fitting, so only turned on twice a day. Lasted 6 summer months so not well used - 1000 hours max - but probably less. Contacted the company. Very polite but no refund. So back to BandQ with its no quibble refund/replacement. To be fair I have had many candle long life from this company, because they do 60W ones, which seem O.K. so far. But lost faith in Kosnic and on line purchase of long life bulbs.

I ordered 2 energy-saving globe lightbulbs which arrived well-packed and exactly as described at a competitive price. Hermes are not the speediest courier, 9 days in this case, so parcel post would have been quicker but I would happily use energysavingonline again.

ordered a box of cfl's. I wasnt actually expecting 100% to work, but I emailed about the defectives anyway.

But they were absolutely brill about contacting me and sending replacements, even though I had dropped one of the defectives and smashed it (post-defect obviously)!

They were very attentive, and actually chased me up to test the rest of the box of bulbs. I cant recommend them more highly. Would I use them ago, very much a big Yes.
