Harmon Kardon AVR 2550

I purchased an HK AVR and have had nothing but trouble with is. After the video card crapped out and the fan died which caused overheating I was forced to send the amp across the continent for repair. As you can imagine, a 50 lb box doesn't get handled well by the shipping companies. Consequently my amp was damaged beyond repair. HC sent me a replacement - not new, but better than nothing. It lasted 6-8 months and now it has packed it in. I guess you can only expect 12-16 months out of a $2000 AVR.

I 've had the Harmon Kardon AVR 2550 for 3 years and I am very pleased with it.I 've put it set to set with many other receivers (Marantz, Yammaha, Kenwood)but H/K still has the best sound quality of them all.I 've had different HI END speaker connected to it, and it always delivers. (jamo, louther)
