I Picked This Amp Up With A Nak Mb-10 Cd Player In

I picked this amp up with a NAK MB-10 CD player in used condition for $250. It is by far the best $250 I have spent in many years!

A Very Heavy Machine, Retailing At £800, Bou

A very heavy machine, retailing at £800, bought for £300 in June 2002 and still sounds good. Don't think I would have paid £800 for it, mind. Very powerful amplifier (100wpc) and drives my Eltax Liberty's with ease and cranks the bass through with poise.

The Nakamichi Av-10 Is A Great Receiver For Someon

The Nakamichi AV-10 is a great receiver for someone looking to tap into the home theatre experience. This reciever/amplifier has enough power output to deliver the thunder and edge of movie soundtracks, with ease. You could probably channel enough juice through this reciever to light up a small town. 120 x 2 or 100 x 5 and this seems to be true power ratings.

DTS, Prologic and DSP's(only two, not a dozen horrible-souding DSP modes, two clean and distinct modes)are all plusses.

What's more, two channel audio sounds great through the Nak as well.

This is a no frills all buissness reciever/hometheater monster that, in my opinion, sets a benchmark for home-theater and two channel audio, in its price range. I want to say that this is by no means meant to compete with 2500 dollar amps/integrated amps, but is rather the head of its class.

To Steve in Colorado... The AV-10 will work in the USA. I have the AV-8 and it is very, very good in stereo and has a very good home theater presentation. I would like to upgrade to the AV-10 so that I can get the DTS function. The Nakamich is a gem that most people do not hear about and have not found. Good value for the $$$..

Steve.

Does anyone know if this receiver (Nakamichi AV-10) would be able to be used in the USA? Are these all set for UK voltage? Please help, thanks.

I Have Owned A Lot Of High Quality Gear In My Time

I have owned a lot of high quality gear in my time but this receiver surprised me big time. Not only is it very straight forward in operation but it has enough clean power for the most hungriest of speakers. Highly recommend, you might also want to try the Nak DVD 10S, it is also a very nice piece.

I Got My Nakamichi Av-10 For $999 And It Was Worth

I got my Nakamichi AV-10 for $999 and it was worth every penny. Pushing Nak MB-2 CD thru Defintive Technology BP20's (nonpowered) and it is very clean, with sparkling highs and pants-flapping lows at any volume and DVD surround is rich and detailed. Highly recommend for $1000.

I Just Have 1 Year With This Nakamichi Av-10 Ampif

I just have 1 year with this Nakamichi AV-10 ampifier, with Bose speakers. 2 months from the purchase I started hearing undesirable sounds. The distributor didn`t change the equipment when I asked for the guarantee. I compare it with a Sony component and the sony sound is greater that the Nakamichi
