Pioneer Vsx-811s
Today is November 26, 2012. I bought this unit in 2002 new. It is STILL new and has never needed a repair. It's fantastic and virtually bullet proof. The sound is incredible and the features are too many to list here. I'm a professional musician with perfect pitch. This machine beats anything I've ever listened to in any price range. If this baby ever takes a dump, I'll be buying another Pioneer - possibly an Elite - without any hesitation. This machine has been driving by big screen and my home theater system every day, 6-8 hours a day for the last ten years and has never missed a beat. I bought mine in the $300 to $400US range. Why would anyone pay more? You certainly would be wasting your money to do so. Viva PIONEER!!!!!

The Pioneer Vsx-811s Is One Of The Best Amplifiers
The Pioneer VSX-811s is one of the best amplifiers for its money. It is fully configurable, down to the last mode, speaker, bass managent & attenuation.
It has loads of options depending on your needs and setup.
It could easily humiliate amplifiers in the $500 - $1000 range.
Similar amps cost over $1500
If you need more specs (THX) or more power look for the Pioneer VSX-1011 or VSX-2011 which are also avery good amplifiers for their money.
I would definately recommend it or buy it again.
I agree! I worked at bestbuy for awhile and out of all the AMPs they sell this was the best one out of them all. Sure there are better amps and sure they might have better sound too! But you only have two ears and no matter what amp you have, this one or a Denon, H-K and other Higer end Amps you STILL will get the same result.
You want a deal and bestbuy for your dollar? Buy this Amp because you will not get a nicer unite for your hard earned money. I own this one and am very happy with the Quality of Pioneer.
