Yamaha AX-592

I bought this amplifier in 1999 and used for over 10 years with no problems.

I use it with a couple of Jamo X2M large floor speakers bought together with the Yamaha. I have also a Marantz old-fashioned CD Player.

The Yamaha is very powerful since the very start of the power control, and raising with the volume the quality of the audio is very good and just get louder and louder without creating hissing or noises, It just raises until the resistance of your ears, which becomes the real limit, at least if you are at home.

So, It's quite powerful for make the neighbors believing there is a party 3 km (2 miles) far from home (It's happened!), It's quite cheap without being "cheap", very robust and doesn't overheat (It doesn't even heat!), has a large quantity of connectors and a unuseful simple equalizer which just make the sound worst (can be ignored using the "Direct" button) and It's what you need to listen good music without double think about finding another better ampli. It's just like "fire and forget" and old trustful friend.
