Sadly Short-lived Item, No Longer Available New, B

Sadly short-lived item, no longer available new, but worth looking for second hand. The only (formerly!) available, timer-enabled DAB & FM radio recorder, in compact form. Geberally treliable once you know how to handle freezes. Let down is quality of DAB reception espec in recording mode.

Extremely Good But Watch Out, I Have A Pure Evoke

Extremely good but watch out, i have a pure evoke one which is really good at receiving DAB, the oono doesn't get anything when i put it where the pure is normally kept. However, in an area of good reception it is excellent.

This Is The Best Present I've Ever Been Given. I

This is the best present I've ever been given. I can listen to radio 4 continuously - I no longer sit in my car waiting for the end of a play and my 2 mile walk to work is a joy as I flit between DAB and MP3 recordings! Admittedly, Radio Scotland doesn't work as well on DAB but that's a signal issue rather than my Oono and I can use FM when there's something I want to hear.

The Oono Minidab Portable Radio Is A Truly Diaboli

The Oono MiniDAB portable radio is a truly diabolical product. The reception is terrible, and it has a lousy user interface.

Any other product is better than this.

I disagree with this review as the reception is not very poor in most areas.

Although It Is Very Compact And Easy To Use, The R

Although it is very compact and easy to use, the reception on the digital radio is so poor that it is unusable. I live in South East London, and I am told that the digital signal in the area is good.

It is impossible to use the MiniDAB for anything when it is charging as there is a loud hum. I don't know if this a fault on my MiniDAB or if it is common to all?!

There is not much point in buying an expensive DAB radio/MP3 player that can't receive DAB.

The Oono Minidab Is A Great Radio! I Love It!!

The Oono MiniDAB is a great radio! I love it!!

I was worried at first because I have never heard of Oono, but they have come up with a winner here.

It is the first decent handheld I have owned, and it is my third attempt. I liked my old Perstel BlueNote, but the aerial was a pain. The PocketDAB 2000 was just a little bit too HUGE!! The MiniDAB does it all, and more, in a tiny package.
