I Only Bought This For The Ipod Dock And It Ticks

I only bought this for the ipod dock and it ticks all the boxes for me, except getting DAB stations is a pain, the aerial is a joke, and I live in a good reception area! The Sony micro I had before was no problem with DAB and neither are the other two radios I have upstairs. On the plus side, the sound is really good, it looks stylish, ipod facility is great and at £118 from Amazon-cheap as chips! I read all the reviews on Amazon and a lot of people seem to have problems with DAB on this model

Sony Cmt-bx70dbi Dab Micro System Standard Speaker

Sony CMT-BX70DBi DAB Micro System Standard speakers sound as if they were made by the Blue Peter team. I threw them in the bin. Hooked up an old set of Missions and hey presto - rich dynamic sound. At the price (£170) from M&S I would thoroughly recommend it. Consider better speakers however this made all the difference. Typical Sony style. Feature list a matter of taste. Has to re-scan fro DAB stations if unpluged! You can store FM stations but i can't figure out how to switch between them - what's that about. My No.1 criteria is sound - great with my Missions

Hope this helps someone.
