Nifty!

I like the faultless casting I can do from any laptop or smartphone, as long as I have strong WiFi. Setting up the Chromecast is also quite easy owing to the step-by-step guide once you have installed the Chromecast application on your device. The number of 'streamable' services also keeps increasing, underscoring the utility of this $30 device. I Should also mention that most visitors find it really cool!

Spyware And Router Password

Typical Google big brother. Turned a good idea into a piece of junk.

Now Chromecast requires router password. Any fools out there like to

provide Google INC / Government with access to their router and all their

browsing habits, so that Google can sell them to any shady outfit they can

make a few dollars from. Selling the useless item today and getting rid of Chrome and any other Google software immediately. Also not it never worked very well and would continuously break signal from TV to router. Don't buy.

Totally Worth The £30

Bought one last week and it, is, amazing! My TV is just a standard 1080p from when they first came out so it doesn't have anything fancy like apps. I bought the chromecast so that I can stream Netflix from my phone. I used to hook up my laptop but then I would have to wait for it to boot up and couldn't pause/rewind/skip anything as my HDMI cable was too short. I haven't tried anything else besides Netflix but I would assume they are just as easy to use.

I Am Using It

When I purchased it, I am not sure of using it but when I started using it; I realized it is awesome, very easy to set and play. Obviously a nice product.

Cheap But Amazing Way To Make An Old Tv Smart!

I must admit I wasn't too sure about buying a Chromecast originally, I didn't think it would be any good, but now I have it I think it's great. It's so easy to set-up and works well, plus even though it's an android product it works will pretty much anything. When I first purchased it there wasn't too many apps that really worked with it, but every day there seems to be new ones and even old ones you want to use are getting support.

I would highly recommend this to anyone willing to upgrade a TV to a smart one.

Turns Your Tv Smart

I'm in no way what you might call tech savvy (i'm 60+)

so having read about this piece of tech and only just purchased a chromebook I bought it. This piece of hardware is a steal for £30, buy now before they decide its so under priced. Its so easy to set up just plug into an empty hdmi slot and power it from either a TV usb port or the plug provided. Down load the app for your device and 'cast' whatever you want from your device to the TV, is really is that easy. If you can see it on your phone/pc/pad you can now see it on your TV. So if its catchup TV or a film its just what i wanted!
