KEF Coda 9

I have read some reviews that these lack bass. I don't know how because mine is more than enough. Sometimes i have to reduce the bass by moving it a bit away from the back wall and the bass control. I used to have a 12 inch passive subwoofer for my bookshelf speakers which had very deep bass to 20 hz and when I replaced them with the Codas I don't hear or feel any difference in the bass region. I still feel the sub is still there. Well, it could be due to the amplifier power. I am using 100 watts per channel integrated amp. These speakers need more power to give their best. I like bass music myself and i am really satisfied with the codas same like when I had the subwoofer. So far the best speaker i had for price, reliability and sound quality. I am very pleased to own the Codas.

When diven by a Technics aa amp and quality in put, the KEF Coda 9 is a very good sound resulted

I purchased the KEF Coda 9 at a great price so overall a bargain especially since they are made in Britain, not China like most are these days.

I had these speakers for five years and have now chaged them for Missions 782. I was generally happy with them and thought they were good value at this price.

I think one thing, they are fabulous! I have them 6 years, and they work as well as they are new ! The sound is "clean" and it gives great bass effects, and a wonderful stereo effects with home cinema!

Having owned these Kef Coda 9 speakers for 3 years. It has taken some work to get them to sound right.

I have tri-wired the crossovers and strengthened the cabinets and now the detail and bass are excellent.

I found the Kef Coda 9 speakers poor - poor box, lack of accuracy, lack of bass.
