Our Company Bought A Couple Of Benq Writers Becaus
Our company bought a couple of BenQ writers because they thought that it was a great product for a fraction of the price. Well, they were wrong on that decision. We experience data lost and improper burn results.
Well, at first we thought it was the disks that made these mess but upon using other burners we proved that it was because of the BenQ CD writers. Since then, whenever I see a BenQ product I think twice before buying it.
I saw some great BenQ products but this particular one was a downer. We ended up returning those products to the supplier and selected other models.

Got About 8 Months Out Of It, And It Flaked On Me.
Got about 8 months out of it, and it flaked on me.
I can't even get the PC to recognize the drive now, after a quick few months of steady degeneration.
This is the second Acer Benq product I have had go flaky on me now, the other being a 56x CD-ROM drive.
I have given up on Acer products.

I Bought This Benq (acer) Cd Burner Two Months Ago
I bought this BenQ (Acer) CD burner two months ago and after installing it on my PIII 900 Mhz with Win XP Pro, I was on burning CD's right away. It was just a breeze to simply drag and drop the software/MP3s to the burner and it did not even take two minutes to burn about 300 Megs of data. The CD burner is actually very quite while working unlike the Previous HP burners I had and it gives no problem in writing on CDs manufactured by any company. The Rewritable CD comes with it and it does what it says on the box.
A highly recommended burner for any home user.
