Philips 170B

Philps is a old and fomous company.They have many models of LCD monitor with good quality and size . Philips 170B LCD is a great monitor . It has perfect picture quality. I like it very much.

i just bought this Philips 170B lcd recently and i have to say this is the best monitor that i have since my old crt 17" that i had for the past 5-6 years. games look so much better now. and the viewing angle for this monitor is so superb i would surely recommend you to buy this.

As a graphical developer of coin operated machines (a dying trade) I help produce touch screen machines for casino's, at last I sold my 17" sony designer (flat silver cab)monitor. Brought the Phillips for £460 and although the dot pitch is not as sharp as the sony for print work, I am more than pleased. A bit worried about the pitch and res before buying and thought about a 21" liyama for the same cash? don't bother unless you use 3dmax or cinema4d etc everyday. Gives better picture than a 19 tube without filling up your desk.

My 19" monitor (Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 900u) finally went bang and I replaced it with a Philips 170B 17" TFT display. It is fantastic. The 17" LCD screen is virtually the same size as a 19" CRT monitor. The LCD screen is bright and clear and the text is so crisp it is a delight to use. No more eye strain and lots more desk space. I chose the Philips TFT monitor because it offered the best value for money and had good reviews in the PC Pro magazine 17" TFT display tests. Highly recommended.
