Dell Inspiron Mini 9

More configurable than other Netbooks, outstanding battery life, options for XP, and Linux OS. An excellent of the type, if not dramatically different from the competition, is the Inspiron Mini 9.

I use this as my extra computer when I am bored at work to play games and surf the net when I am on break. It is very small and portable.

I think this is an ok product from a quality perspective but still good value for money. I would recommend this to my friends

Rubbish!

I got this as a birthday present from my family on a Linux system and at first it was fine, I mean it worked and although a poor web cam it was much appreciated.

Then from there it all went bad ...

The web cam stopped working altogether and so did the voice recorder and the music player. The Flash went so unable to watch things like Youtube and then the tool bar went so which meant I couldn't go on ANYTHING! We sent it back 5 times, promised that it was going to be fixed.

One year after purchase and six months after the repetitive sending backward and forward, this product is going to be sold (when it eventually get's fixed) and my mum's already brought me a new one for my next birthday!

I thought Dell was a good brand, and was shown by the price, but obviously wrong. I hate Dell with a passion and hope with our hearts we can get a complete and utter refund!

The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is ideal for travel,no need for a dedicated laptop bag as its easy to slip into a normal small travel bag. Battery lasts a good couple of hours maybe more if not powered up too often. Hard drive is only 16 gig, could maybe a wee bit bigger say at least 30 gig. Overall it does what it says on the tin so to speak. Nice and handy to use anywhere and with lots of places with free wi-fi it really comes into its own.
