Astonishing Functionality, Long Life, And Always I
Astonishing functionality, long life, and ALWAYS instantly available. I still use it today. Being able to use it at any moment beats pen and paper. And certainly beats waiting for an OS to unsleep, nevermind boot up!
Years and years of use. And I'm about to add a wifi card, so it's still surprising me with how great it is. Well recommend Psion Series 7.

Fully Integrated system in a clam shell design and does exactly what is expected of it. Easy to use, and has the best keyboard of all these type of devices. It really is a fully usable mini PC, and you can really type in a letter or report as quickly as with a full blown word processing PC.
The other manufacturers could have learnt a lot about design from Psion, but they seem to have ignored the lessons and persist with odd design shapes, and unusable keyboards. I still have my Psion and still use it for important documents, despite having various other PDAs, which I cannot use for anything serious other than appointment scheduling, and keeping contacts.

This machine is amazing i have had the psion netbook for 6 years and its still used more than my brand new laptop. I would defiantly buy another one! Nothing bad for me to say about it all and so many good things to say, well recommend this PDA.

I Use My Psion Series 7 Pda To Keep My Company Rec
I use my Psion Series 7 PDA to keep my company records, for all the personal accounts, the accounts of the gun club that I am treasurer of and for email. Most useful when travelling for sending pictures as attachments as we go.
Neuon N convert transfers and converts sheet files but does not transfer the formulas so untill a solution comes up that is the only thing that lets it down for me. I recently had to send it away for repair. Just a couple of little things - mainly the microphone did not work properly. While it was away I was totaly lost without it. I have come to rely on it so much. It is like an extension of me. I probably use it more than the PC.
Please accept my apologies - I confused the model numbers... my son inherited the Series 3 and I retained the Series 5. However it was my intention to purchase a Series 7 but in lieu of the cable flexing problems & Psion's unhelpfulness I decided against doing so.
I used to have a Series 5 & still own a Series 7. In my humble opion they are still the best PDAs ever built BUT they both have a serious design fault... the cable that connects the CPU to the screen cannot sustain the constant flexing from the opening and shutting of the unit. I have had to replace two screens because of this frustrating fault, each time just outside the warranty period & the cost, at repair costs almost amounting to the cost of a new unit price. Just recently my son, an electronic engineer who inherited my Series 5, informed me that the repaired unit was on its way out again. This time the S5 lasted longer but only because he kept it open most of the time & only shutting it when absolutely necessary. Each time this problem happened Psion did not want to know about it and never offered to help out in any way. Worst still my son was turned down flat when he asked for the parts so he could save considerable money on labour costs. This also happened to me. Very disappointing to say the least especially for otherwise a truly great PC product... and I'm a strong Mac user.

I Have Had Nearly All The Psions Apart From The Mi
I have had nearly all the Psions apart from the mid-eighties mobiles and I have toyed with a Palm IIIc. Without a doubt the Psion Series 7 is the best machine. However it is not a palmtop; too heavy and cumbersome to look up phone numbers on a station platform and I use it in conjunction with my Series 5 for work.
The Type II CF slot takes microdrives for maximum pose points in the office.
