I Have Had This Printer About 6 Years Now And Stil
I have had this printer about 6 years now and still find it great value for money with no need to replace it. As someone said previously, as little as 50p for ink is hard to compete with. I have had some problems with clogged print heads on 2 occasions, however this was probably my own fault for not using the printer for such long periods and allowing the ink to dry up. I have had to remove the print head and clean it with solution but it works 100% now.

Frankly, I Don't Recommend It. I've Had Many Stres
Frankly, i don't recommend it. I've had many stressful days coping with this machine. It is easy to use and the 3-in-one is extremely helpful for a student (which i am). It worked well for about the first two years and then it was just complication after complication. It started to have banding problems, and then more recently, paper jams. It also is quite annoying that you have to get the chip in the ink cartridge reset everytime the computer "thinks" the ink is run out- since i have a ink refill kit, it's a hassle for me to constantly be running to the store to get it reset. The printer doesn't allow you to print until it's reset.

The Epson CX3200 is easy to use. I could control the scanner from the PC, which I did find helpful. Photos were good but did take a while.
The top flap is removable which is superb when copying large objects.
It's quite a bulky affair but with nice clean lines. With that size I should have thought that the paper tray is fully enclosed inside but for some reason or another, nearly all manufacturers choose to tack the in-tray at the back or front and which collects dust.

It Was My First Printer/copier And For The 4/5 Yea
It was my first printer/copier and for the 4/5 years I had it I had no problems, it was a good workhorse. Reliable, reasonably priced, ok if you want a basic printer/copier for home or small office use, though don't expect any complicated extras, it is a printer/scanner. Epson send lots of little things to help you, e.g.templates. The manual is easy and short. Customer service is very good. The machine is easy to use with a clear panel and controls, and it's easy to load cartridges.

In General The Price Of The Unit And The Ink Cartr
In general the price of the unit and the ink cartridges makes the CX3200 a good buy for the money as long as you can put up with the occasional problems with quality. I also read that it is a good idea to run the unit once a week to prevent quality and head clogging problems. I have had this unit for about 6 years and believe that I have gotten my moneys worth from it.

Now It's Become Impossible To Print Anything Witho
Now it's become impossible to print anything without horizontal banding & a mess of black ink, cleaned the heads over & over again, only option would be to take it apart, but would rather not, another printer is on the cards! Not Epson, do not recommend this Epson all in one printer!
