Extremely Expensy Ink
Personally I would not buy an Epson Stylus SX200 again.
Firstly, there is n scan-function, not one I could find anyway.
Secondly, the cartridges are very expensive and do not last long.
thirdly, if you have a refill-cartridge, like from Viking/Office Depot, it just does not work. You can click to go on with printing, but the printer than still does not use that cartridge and empties the other ones extremely fast (Viking/Office Depot should of course not sell those, because they should know!!).
There are way better products on the market!

Only thing i would say is epson have divised a way into making you buy genuine ink cartridges that inable you to use printer if none genuine inks used, which i think is wrong considering when you buy machine it is yours to do as you wish, but by epson using this as a way of raising more cash of you to make even more money.Wont buy another epson sorry

Rubbish! Unfortunately Our Good Old Eps
Rubbish!
Unfortunately our good old Epson color 760 gave up after 10 years of great service, so I was on the lookout for a new printer. I decided to stick with Epson after owning such a good one before, and so the Epson stylus sx200 seemed like a good buy......how wrong I was!
Pros -
Very fast printing in black and white
Built in scanner and memory card readers
Cons -
Paper loading system fiddly and useless.
Printed paper tray is flimsy and jams when folding away.
Copy feature prints at low quality and cannot be altered.
Genuine ink cartridges RIDICUOUSLY EXPENSIVE!
Front USB port is recessed, so most memory sticks won't fit in.
Ink smudges appear on paper after head cleaning cycle is complete.
Another very annoying feature is if one of the ink cartridges run low whilst printing. The printer stops printing immediately and feeds the half printed paper out. After replacing the cartridge, the printer then feeds a new sheet of paper in and starts printing where it had finished at the top of the page! This means that your work is spread over 2 pages with a gap in the middle! AAAAGGGGGGGG!!!!! This is most frustrating if you set it to print a high quality picture on expensive gloss paper, or if you set it to print a 100 page document overnight and in the morning you find it has stopped on the 3rd page because it was low on ink!
I have plumbed mine into a CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System) which I would definitely advise anybody with a modern ink jet printer to look into. http://continuous-ink-systems.co.uk/ these systems bypass the electronic tagging on the ink cartridges and run on bottled ink that is 30 times cheaper than the genuine cartridges. And the quality is still fine! This proves that there is no need for Epson to be selling their ink at the cost of £10 for 1 cartridge! (Costing £40 to replace all!!!!)
This will be my last Epson printer that I will ever buy. I am disappointed with Epson after their fantastic printer that I have owned for the past 10 years. I would have thought that they would be making their new products better than there older ones, but alas no. THERE MAKING THEM WORSE!!!

Epson Stylus Sx200 All In One Black Gloss Type Pri
Epson Stylus SX200 all in one black gloss type printer scanner copyer with full memory card print out from sd cards ect . with copy led for selecting how many copys you want . the ink is in 4 parts so when one runs out you just buy what you want . also you can buy cheaper refills for half the price .. i got 3 off these epsons for the family at £39.99 from argos which are still on sale .
the print is really good better then my dx4400 epson . the only point i would say is if you do a few photos the ink runs faster but cheap to fill up from anywhere . the led light on the panel off the printer is for how many copys you want from the scanner which is quite as you dont need the pc turned on for this fuction .. also i will point out when first installing the epson . it will make a racket when first time it is turned on and ink is installed . when the software is installing . dont worry its because its new and it does a full check up off making sure it works before the last part install the ink ..
