Microsoft Security Essentials

Microsoft Security Essentials is a fantastic antivirus program. It does not push pop ups in the face of the user and does not require you to mess around with settings all the time. The icon in the taskbar has a simple traffic light system. Green is the system is fine, orange is the antivirus needs some attention but is still working and red means something is badly wrong and needs attention. Yes this is not the best one out there but for the basic home user who just uses the computer to check emails and small things like that it's fine. Running this along side another anti malware program like malwarebytes will make this a good team that will protect your computer very well.

I recommend mse to all my customers. I cannot see how security essentials has a bad rating all over the web. It does the job and for the price tag of free this is an amazing product.

i use it on all my pcs even picks up problems with hard drives you plug into your pc with out asking it too. fixes every problem ive had.
